The swan of paper

A swan of paper is an odd thing, which is favorably distinguished among others by beauty and grace. In particular, if it is not made in a monotone version. A swan made of paper is a beautiful decoration for a house, which can serve as a good gift. And to make it is not so difficult, though not fast. In order for the paper swan to be ready, it will be necessary to collect a lot of composite elements.

The technology of such origami was developed by the Chinese, it was they who at the time began to make three-dimensional complex figures of the same elements of a triangular shape. Each such module is a folded paper in a specific way. The creation of any figure is done as follows - the modules stack with each other. The result of the works will not disintegrate in any case, since the modules will be held by the force of friction. If you work with glue - then the figure will be an excellent toy for children.

So, to get a swan made of paper, you need to put together a certain number of modules of different colors. Call more helpers - relatives, friends, so it will be easier for you. Make a paper swan does not work, if it is thin. As a material, quality color is needed. Modules in this case will be small paper rectangles - 4x6 centimeters, you need them so much: 1 red, 36 blue. 60 yellow, 136 pink, 39 blue, 90 orange and 19 purple.

So, the swan of paper - step by step:

- We take three rectangles of pink color, the corners of two of them are inserted into the pockets of the third. Then we take a couple more modules and connect to the first group. In the same way, the whole swan ring is made, which consists of two rows, each with 30 modules each. The last element must close the chain.

- then you need to take 30 orange modules and make up the third row, and they should go in staggered order. In the same way, you need to make 2 more rows.

- After this, remove the workpiece. To do this, you need to take it by the edges, and then, as it were, turn it off - from this, its shape will change significantly, it will resemble a pad.

- already on the turned-out figure it will be necessary to add six rows of modules of yellow color. (The number of elements in the series is all the same.) True, in this case they will not need to be stringed, but worn on top.

- wings will be made from the 7th row. However, initially it will be necessary to select the side on which the head and neck will be located, and then remove several modules from it. In this place the neck will be fastened. On both sides of the neck, you need to make rows of yellow modules, each of which has 12 pieces. In other words, in the seventh row there will be only 24 modules.

- We continue to work on the wings. Rows from the eighth to the tenth will be green, and in each subsequent there will be two elements less than in the previous one. In the eighth they will be 22, at 9 - 20, at 10 - 18. 11 and 12 rows will be blue. In the first - 16 elements, in the second - 14. In the 13th row - 12 blue, at 14 - 10, at 15 - 8. The wings will complete violet - in the 16th row - 6 violet, 17 - 4, 18 - 2. All that's left is to give them a bent shape.

- The tail is laid out in a similar way from the elements of green and blue (5 rows, each smaller on the module).

- They make the neck a little differently. Two corners of the element are inserted into the pockets of the other. First red, then seven violet, six blue and green, finally, seven yellow. In the course of the process, it is desirable to bend the neck so that eventually it takes on the necessary shape.

- As an ornament, you can add a swan to your eyes (drawn or made of plastic), and tie a bow around your neck.

- Finally, you can make a swan based on two rings, made on the same principle as the neck for a swan. On them and there will be an accomplished figure. The resulting creation of your hands will surely impress any connoisseur of origami and take a worthy place in your home.
