Who does not like to travel? Someone is eager for America, someone is drawn to Asia, someone - to Europe, and someone likes to travel around our country. Anyway, every tourist with time to appear favorite places, where you want to come back again and again. And they do not need to be in the rating "The most famous capital of the world": every tourist has his own preferences.

And which cities are the most popular in Europe? A survey of a large number of respondents helped to determine which city, in the opinion of Russians, is the most famous capital of Europe.

Correspondents of the TV show "100/1" ("One Hundred and One") were interviewed by a large number of citizens of the Russian Federation. They asked people the same question: "Which city is the most famous European capital?" It is worth noting that the opinions of citizens are divided.

Below are the most popular answers to the question about what the most famous capital exists in Europe.

Paris

Almost every resident of Russia probably wants to visit the magnificent Paris. The capital of France is a magnet that attracts not only lovers, but also all residents of our country and the whole world. Paris seems to drive me crazy. Despite the high (and for some people even the impermissible) rate of the euro, not at all ideal weather and the often arising headache, people come here again and again. Although it is not difficult to guess that it attracts tourists from all over the world to this European city: people come here for first-class service in restaurants (with Michelin stars), for good shopping (including sales) or to see the famous Parisian " Disneyland "and take a photo on the background of the legendary Eiffel Tower. Although most Russian tourists admit that they are going to Paris for sightseeing purposes: the famous Louvre, Orsay or Marmottana. Reasons to visit this beautiful city are a great variety. But the fact remains: for most Russians, Paris is the most famous capital of Europe.

Moscow

Ironically, in second place in popularity is the capital of the Russian Federation - the city of Moscow. As soon as our residents and guests call our capital! And the "Third Rome", and "non-rebellious," and even affectionately - "a big village." "Village" the Russian capital is called thanks to the quiet side streets of Zamoskvorechye, the atmosphere of which resembles a village silence. Many tourists go to traditionally look at the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square, and now also on the famous Moscow City. Many respondents mentioned China Town and the new modern scientific center Skolkovo. An exact list of all the sights of the city can not be reproduced by any inhabitant of the capital of Russia, and even an art critic! The number of monuments, theaters and museums here is just off scale! In a word, every inhabitant or guest of the city finds his own in the capital.

London

The capital of Great Britain today is one of the most popular destinations. Tourists from all over the world are rushing to the heart of Britain, despite the high cost of sightseeing tours, coupled with rather modest means of accommodation. Some of the interviewed respondents indicated that in order to see the royal guard, to visit the Tower and hear the sound of the Big Ben tower, they are ready to pay such a palpable sum. Other respondents said that the capital of Great Britain should be visited at least because London is the birthplace of the famous Sherlock Holmes.

Berlin

The fourth place by the number of votes of respondents is occupied by Berlin. The capital of Germany, as well as the capital of Russia, is a city full of contrasts. Contrast is observed in everything: in architecture, history, literature. Among the main attractions of Berlin, Russians would like to see the Berlin Wall (a reflection of the post-war times), graffiti on the ruins and the legendary "Watch of World Time." Several people also noted the restaurant "The Last Instance", where at one time Napoleon and Beethoven often dined.

Rome

The final, 5th place ranking, goes to the capital of Italy and the ancient capital of the Roman Empire. Rome is a city, "where all roads lead." There are so many attractions that are concentrated here that tourists can wander the streets of the city for weeks, and still not have time to see everything. That's why seasoned travelers advise newcomers to book a hotel not for a day or two, but at least a week. The Russians confessed that, unlike many other European cities, Rome can be visited endlessly. The historical center of the city is the world heritage of mankind. Among the surveyed residents of Russia, most noted as areas must see the New Center, the Vatican, Old Rome, the North Center and the Colosseum. Also, some Russians advised to take a walk through the streets of Trastevere, glance at the Art Center de Kirco, visit restaurants in Aventino-Testaccio and spend the night in San Lorenzo.

As the most popular capital of Europe, there were also nominated other candidates: for example, some people polled by the title "the most famous capital of Europe" awarded the cities of Prague and Minsk, however these European capitals scored fewer votes, therefore they were not included in the list of the "5 most popular capitals of Europe" ".
