The drug also found application in dermatology for the therapy of dermatitis, which is complicated by bacterial infection, acne, pyoderma.

With external application of the drug, high concentrations of active components of a local character are created. Systemic absorption of the active substance through the damaged surface can reach ten components.

Ointment has a pronounced antibacterial effect. It has a bacteriostatic effect, which is due to a competitive interaction with para-aminobenzoic acid, which results in inhibition of the enzyme dehydrotetrate synthase. Ointment is intended for external use. After the initial treatment of wounds, burns are applied to the wound surface with a thin layer, then a sterile bandage is applied. For the therapy of pyoderma, acne ointment is applied to the affected foci three to four times during the day without direct bandage application. The dose of the drug directly depends on the size of the affected surface. The duration of therapy is determined by the dynamic indicators of wound healing, their readiness for autodermoplasty, the timing of elimination of the purulent-inflammatory process.
