The drug "Nizoral" belongs to the group of antifungal agents. The international name of the drug is ketoconazole.

Means "Nizoral", the instruction to which acquaints us with this preparation, is issued in the form of flat round tablets having on one side the inscription "To 200", and on the other - "Janssen". The dosage form is white.

The drug "Nizoral", whose composition is described in the instructions, as the main component includes ketoconazole. In one tablet, its content is two hundred milligrams. Excipients are the following: corn starch and lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose and polyvidon K 90, as well as magnesium stearate and colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide.

The drug "Nizoral", the instruction to which explains the mechanism of its effect on pathogenic fungi, has a fungistatic and fungicidal effect. After ketoconazole enters the body, the process of biosynthesis of ergosterol fungi decreases, which causes changes in the composition of the remaining lipids in their membranes.
