The cities close to Moscow: list. Cities of the Moscow region

Because of the congestion in Moscow of roads, permanent traffic jams, which cause not only gas pollution, but also stressful situations, unbelievably high prices for housing and utilities, more people are beginning to look at "alternative" places of residence.

Cities of the Moscow region from year to year are beginning to enjoy increasing demand among Muscovites, whose income does not allow them to buy the coveted square meters in the capital. There is even a rating of cities most favorable to people's lives.

Why Moscow

Maybe live in Moscow - it's prestigious, but not comfortable and certainly not useful. Overpopulation of the capital, the terrible overload of city streets, poor ecology and criminal situation are hardly associated with people with a calm and safe life.

Therefore, the cities close to Moscow begin to use such demand . Even a list of those located just 10 km from MKAD, a zone that is considered to be a Moscow territory among the local population, is even made up. Among them there are a dozen of the most favorable for life:

  • Odintsovo.
  • Krasnogorsk.
  • Khimki.
  • Mytischi.
  • Lyubertsy.
  • Reutov.
  • Dzerzhinsky.
  • Dolgoprudny.
  • Balashikha.
  • Pushkino.

These cities of Moscow region have advantages over populated areas located farther from MKAD:

  • First, the proximity to the capital, which makes it possible to work there, living in another city.
  • Secondly, excellent transport links with Moscow, for example, by train from these localities, you can reach its center in 30-40 minutes.
  • Thirdly, the good supply of cities with basic goods.

There are other advantages that these cities close to Moscow have. Everything depends on the direction in which they are located from MKAD.

Odintsovo

Until recently, a small village, today it is a major Moscow region center, in which industry is developed and more than 140,000 people live.

Strangely enough, but this area is considered one of the cleanest in the suburbs, despite the enterprises and the constantly loaded highway passing through the city.

This is due to the fact that Odintsovo is surrounded by a huge mass of forest, which, apparently, still copes with all the "charms" of civilization. The city is recognized as one of the best and safest to stay in this region. The equipped Meshchersky park and the embankment on the banks of the Setuni River, located in the Odintsovo district, have become a favorite vacation spot for townspeople.

Odintsovo continues to develop and develop. For today 42 new residential buildings are being built here. Like all cities close to Moscow, it has a good transport interchange, allowing residents to travel to the capital without hindrance. The infrastructure of the city is well developed, there is everything that people need: schools, kindergartens, hospitals and polyclinics, places for entertainment and recreation.

Krasnogorsk

Located just 22 km from the center of the capital, Krasnogorsk adjoins it from the north-west, and it can be considered its suburb.

Most of the population is involved in the enterprises of the megalopolis, but in the city itself there are no problems with work, since there are:

  • The famous Krasnogorsk plant of optical instruments.
  • Factory for the production of building mixtures and gypsum products.
  • Plant of cement engineering.
  • Manufacture of medicinal herbs.
  • Bread factory, confectionery factory.
  • Publishing and printing center.

Although local residents are provided with work, the ecology of the district leaves much to be desired. The air is especially polluted here, although the activity of people has not bypassed the groundwater, and in this connection the destruction of forests is observed, with which the city is very tightly surrounded.

So far the situation is not so catastrophic, and therefore Krasnogorsk is considered promising in terms of living and social security.

Reutov

Founded in 1492 as a guard village, in which the bell of the rebet was installed, informing about the approach of enemies to Moscow, Reutov grew rather slowly and received city status only in 1940.

Today it has about 100,000 inhabitants, and the city of Reutov can be called the Moscow suburbs, since it is only 1-3 km from the capital. The recently constructed branch line made them even closer.

This town makes the most pleasant impression, as it is simply buried in verdure, the courtyards of numerous skyscrapers are equipped with playgrounds, and the streets are clean. Here everything is built so that people feel comfortable and have not been deprived of any social or cultural objects.

Schools, kindergartens, health centers, recreation parks, youth center, stadium, shopping complexes with numerous shops, cafes and cinemas are far from everything the city of Reutov can please its inhabitants.

In general, there is a favorable situation, despite such proximity to the capital.

Khimki

Although it is believed that this is the Moscow region, the city of Khimki is often called the district of Moscow. This town is based on the site of the former village of Kozmodemyansky, which was on the Royal Route and is famous for the battles in the 1608-1609's between the Russian army and the Polish army, led by False Dmitry II.

Its name was given to the town in honor of the river of the same name, and it was developed thanks to the railway carried through it, as well as many cities close to Moscow.

It was here that the fascist troops were stopped, and 23 kilometers did not reach Moscow. In the pre-war period, and especially after it, the Moscow region, the city of Khimki in particular, became overgrown not only by industrial enterprises, but also by classified objects. So, in 1950 Khimki became a secret center, in which there were the Aviation Plant. Lavochkin, MKB "Fakel" and others.

Today, more than 225,000 people live here, it is a fairly large industrial city with good ecology. He not only drowns in the green, but is surrounded by it.

Mytischi

The city of Mytishchi (Moscow region) was first mentioned in the chronicles of 1460 as a village of the same name. It housed a toddler - a place of gathering of myt (duty) from those who dragged the ships with goods from the Yauza River to Klyazma.

Today, on the site of the village grew a city that is a center of engineering and other industrial sectors. It is here that wagons are made for the metro, dump trucks, synthetic resins, linoleum, welding machines and much more.

In addition to work, residents of Mytishchi are provided with an active cultural life. So, here there is a puppet theater and a theater of drama and comedy, there are houses of culture and recreation, festivals are held. The city continues to develop and grow.

Dzerzhinsky

For the first time the city of Dzerzhinsky was mentioned in the chronicles of 1360, when in its place was still the village of Denisievo, in memory of which one of the streets of the city was named. His fate was closely connected with the monastery, built on the orders of Dmitry Donskoy in honor of the victory in the Kulikovo battle.

In the 20th century, the settlement quickly grew into a city thanks to the construction of a combined heat and power plant. Today it is a multinational city (more than 18 nationalities), in which 54,000 people live. A large number of representatives of different nationalities in a small area is due to the fact that during the industrialization of the country people from all the republics of the Soviet Union went to new construction sites, where they settled and got an apartment.

The city of Dzerzhinsky is located to the southeast of the capital and is an urban district consisting of one settlement.

Pushkino

From the ecological point of view, Pushkino (Moscow region) can be called prosperous, since, despite the industrial enterprises operating there, forests do not perish here, water resources are in order and soil contamination is within the norm.

It is a very cozy, clean and green town, home to just over 100,000 people. Interestingly, despite the relative proximity to Moscow (30 km), 60% of the able-bodied population works at the place of residence and only 28% goes to work in the capital.

Another advantage of the town is its 5 universities, which allow young people to get education without leaving their native city.
