Terminator models: list and comparison

Now it is difficult to meet a person who would not have heard of the famous Terminator.

Terminator T 800

This robot viewers can meet in the first two parts of the film and in the film "Terminator: Genesis." It belongs to the genus of androids-infiltrators. These devices were created with the aim of introducing them into the society for the performance of certain missions. They were mainly charged with murder. Robots-models Terminator T-800 are the most mass series among the production of similar devices. They were the first to make artificial skin, identical to an ordinary person. To create a device similar to a human, blood, hair, flesh and other components were specially grown. This process takes about a month. The difference from conventional devices is partial regeneration and the ability to store heat. This model of Terminator can be seen in the third film, where the role of the robot again went to Arnold. In the arsenal of this model of the Terminator there is nothing, but he himself imitates the piercing and cutting devices. But this creature has its drawbacks - it is sensitive to temperature. Thus, with a strong supercooling or overheating, it loses its functionality. To completely destroy the robot, it must be placed in an environment whose temperature will exceed 1.5 thousand degrees Celsius. Serial production of this model did not begin. First, this is a very costly process, and secondly, Skynet suggested that these robots can rebel against him, since they perform their tasks autonomously.

Liquid metal infiltrator T 1001

This model can be seen in the film "The Battle for the Future" and played by Shirley Manson. The main difference between the robot and the previous liquid metal version (Terminator, model T 1000) is the possibility of acquiring more complex shapes, it can be crushed in water or in the form of a jet to move through the pipes. Terminator TH

In the movie "Let the Savior Come", the role of a human hybrid and terminator went to Sam Worthington. The uniqueness of this creation is that it is the first robot that considers itself to be a human being. This is really a man who in 2003 was converted into a cyborg. These terminators have similar characteristics with T 1000 and TX, they can give their body any shape and appearance, the only difference is that nanorobots are used instead of metal. In this case, they differ from other models by an underestimated sensitivity to the magnetic field. There is no built-in weapon in the model, but it is capable of creating firearms from its own material. After the shot, some nanoparticles are separated from the terminator, but will soon return.
