Shchi with mushrooms and fresh cabbage - a delicious dish

Shchi is a favorite dish not only of Russian cuisine. They are popular in many countries. Each version has its own subtleties and cooking technology. This requires 300 grams of ceps, two medium-sized onions, two tablespoons of vegetable oil, half cabbage, laurel, one carrot, three medium potatoes, three cloves of garlic, dill, meat broth, salt and pepper. Mushrooms washed and cut into pieces. Instead of white mushrooms, you can take any forest. Then fry them in vegetable oil with finely chopped onions. We put on the fire a pot of broth from meat and bring it to a boil. Then spread the shredded cabbage, laurel leaf. Solim to taste and cook for about 30 minutes. After that, add potatoes and carrots, cut into pieces of arbitrary shape. Also we put mushrooms fried with onions. Varim soup with mushrooms and fresh cabbage for 15 minutes. At the end, add the greens and chopped garlic.

The fast food

Shchi Lenten, but not less tasty are perfect for a vegetarian table. For cooking, you need three potatoes, 200 grams of cabbage, 5 large mushrooms, one onion and carrots, one tomato, a little olive oil, salt and pepper. We start with the preparation of vegetables. We clean them and wash them, and we take off the skin from the tomato. We cut finely carrots, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. Potatoes cut a small cube to quickly cooked. Shchi with bacon

This is a recipe for those who prefer more hearty and fatty dishes. Prepare them with sauerkraut. For cooking, take 200 grams of smoked bacon, as many sauerkraut, two potatoes, one carrot, half a bowl, 50 grams of mushrooms, two spoons of tomato paste, two peeled cloves of garlic, salt, bay leaf and pepper. Fill boiled water with dried mushrooms and set them aside. Vegetables are cleaned and washed. We put on the fire a pot of water (1.5 liters). When it boils, add the mushrooms. After 5 minutes, add cabbage sauerkraut and tomato paste. Throw soup on a small fire for 20 minutes. Bacon cut into strips and lightly fry. We add vegetable oil and put carrots and onions into the pan. We put the ready dressing in a saucepan. Then comes the diced potatoes. We try soup with mushrooms. The recipe does not provide for the use of vegetable seasonings, but you can add them. Solim and pepper to taste. To improve the taste, you can put a pinch of sugar. A few minutes before the meal we put the chopped garlic and greens.

Shchi with mushrooms and pearl barley

We take 25 grams of dried mushrooms (white), 150 grams of cabbage acid, three large spoons of pearl barley, 200 grams of celery root, vegetable oil, salt, pepper and fresh herbs. Mushrooms washed and poured cold water for an hour. Celery is cleaned with straws and cut into slices. Fry it with sour cabbage on vegetable oil for about 15-20 minutes over low heat. Shchi should brew for about 10 minutes.

A few tips

Broth for cabbage soup can be prepared from fresh or dried mushrooms. Dried product is best pre-soak. To give the dish flavor, you can add herbs, various kinds of pepper, roots, garlic and other spices. Carrots and tomato paste will give you a beautiful color. You can use turmeric for this. In cabbage soup with mushrooms and fresh cabbage add fresh herbs at the end of cooking. Sour cabbage is cooked longer than fresh cabbage. This dish perfectly complements the spoon of sour cream, which is put in each plate.
