"Bronze Bird": the participants, the crew, the plot and the actors. "Bronze Bird", "Dirk": the fate of the actors

The three-part miniseries "Dirk", "Bronze Bird" and "The Last Summer of Childhood", which were filmed by the talented writer Anatoly Rybakov, for twenty years were hits of Soviet television during all school holidays. The adventures of three friends - Mishka, Genki and Slavik - the realities of the pioneer life of the post-revolutionary years excited the children's consciousness. To date, these tapes have already become the classics of the film studio Belarusfilm.

The second part of this trilogy - "Bronze Bird" - came out in the Soviet Union a little over 40 years ago - in June 1974, and immediately fell in love with millions of girls and boys. Many guys tried to repeat the feats of the telegraphs, who occupied their minds and seemed to be the best. It's safe to say that young actors woke up famous. "Bronze Bird" is a real story about the ideal pioneer organization.

The plot line of the picture

The history of what is happening is simple. Three Moscow children - Mikhail Polyakov, Gennady Petrov and Vyacheslav Eldarov - in company with the other students of their native school come to summer camp for pioneer camp, located outside the city. This camp is located on the territory of a country house, which belonged to Count Karagaev, who fled abroad. About the members of the count's family among the local population there were various rumors and incredible legends were told. It was said that, according to the order of the empress, the ancestors of the count were executed and buried in a swamp. And now, after many years, the ghosts of each of them intimidated the travelers, who lost their way. Even the popular rumor had a tale about the Count's father, who, despite being an eccentric person, managed to preserve and increase the wealth he received. But at the end of his life he hid it in the forest surroundings. But where exactly - no one knew.

"Countess" was the most real countess

At that time, which describes the story, in the count's mansion lived only Sofya Pavlovna, a housekeeper of very respectable years, which the indefatigable pioneers gave the nickname of Countess. Here it is impossible not to depart from the narrative and not to tell about one curious fact. The actors of the film "Bronze Bird" Were chosen based on the possibility to play the proposed roles. And the director's choice was simply magnificent.

A separate "thank you" to him for the actress Maria Kapnist, who played the housekeeper Karagaevs. This woman in her ordinary life was a hereditary noblewoman and countess. And the year 1941 turned for her not only the beginning of the war, but also repression "for anti-Soviet propaganda and agitation." Kapnist became known to a large circle of viewers with the performance of the roles of witches, mysterious old ladies, ladies, sorceresses. Due to the fact that during her imprisonment she had to work underground, she had a claustrophobia, which became the cause of her death many years later. Maria Rostislavovna tried not to use underground pedestrian crossings. When she was 79 years old (1993), she crossed the Victory Avenue in Kiev. She was hit by a car. Death.

Mansion or commune

So, the mansion of Count Karagaev was occupied only by Sofya Pavlovna. But the Komsomol attracted this place and they decided to organize a labor commune there for the children of the orphanage, who, for the most part, were ordinary street children. The housekeeper, naturally, resists such a turn of events. And the Komsomol members who came to her talk even present a protection letter, according to which this estate was recognized as a historical monument and was of great value.

That the characters turned out interesting, that all played their roles as best and truthfully as possible, the actors were selected. "Bronze Bird" seemed a huge flower garden of talented artists.

At the same time in the village there are two strange and incomprehensible incidents. Two pioneers disappear from the pioneer camp, and in the vicinity of this village, Kuzmina, who once worked at the county as a forester, is found on a beautiful green meadow.

In search of the missing guys

Three bosom friends - Mishka, Genka and Slavik - borrow a boat from Kondraty Stepanovich (local artist) and the four of them (having invited the village boy Zherdya) swim along the river, trying to find the disappeared pioneers.

Augustin Milovanov (artist) and Oleg Sevostyanov (Zherdiai) are also involved actors. "Bronze Bird" is the only film not just about the pioneers, but also about their organization - made it possible for them to play roles far from being the main ones, but important for creating a special atmosphere of this mini-series.

The fugitives were quickly found and returned to the pioneer camp. But the second incident - the murder of the forester - has so far remained undisclosed.

A note from the eagle

A few days after these events, Mikhail and Vyacheslav decided to go to the city. On the train, they noticed the Countess and started spying on her. So they could see how she pulled out a note from a well-hidden eagle in the figure of the eagle. From the conversation with the doctor of the district hospital, Mishka learns interesting information about the fact that the map on which the place with buried jewels is indicated is hidden in a large bronze bird that adorns the entrance to the count's mansion for many years. Friends immediately decided to start searching. Now they understand that the forest ranger was killed by those people who are interested in finding the treasures of the Count as soon as possible.

Young actors

Three friends who were the main characters in all three scenes were played by Sergei Shevkunenko (Misha Polyakov), Igor Shulzhenko (Slava Eldarov) and Vladimir Dichkovsky (Gennady Petrov). That is, they played in the movie "Bronze Bird". Actors and roles, they performed, fell in love with the boys. They felt grown-up and independent. The boys even abandoned their studies.

Many years after the shooting, Vyacheslav Eldarov recalled that before studying at the cinema he had studied very well, and in a year of filming the 14-year-old was simply lazy. In the school where the children were seconded (in Vilnius), the friends went off only once, but managed to arrange an explosion in the chemical room. Later, teachers came to the hotel where they lived. But the boys were not interested.

His mother was against filming, but Igor persuaded her, motivating that the boys had tried a lot for Slava's role, and they had chosen him.

Only shooting involved in the work on the film, young actors. "Bronze Bird" - one of the best films shot in the Soviet Union, has not allowed the knowledge to settle in their heads.

Igor Shulzhenko, who is so correct and intelligent on the screen, never completed a single institute in his real life (he once did at the Polytechnic and Radio Technical Institutes). He learned to lay a tile and thus earned his living. February 2009 was the last in his destiny.

Vladimir Dichkovsky got into the picture the same way as Shulzhenko. An assistant director came to the school where he studied, and invited the boy to test photos. So began his work on the trilogy. Vladimir still remembers what he spent his fee on - he bought himself a cool moped. Dichkovsky has been driving for more than thirty years, he works as a chauffeur and does not regret anything in his life, because he is sure that his life is very interesting.

Such were the screen friends, Slavka and Genka, the actors of the film "Bronze Bird". Their fate has developed in different ways, the only resemblance is that they have not chosen a film career. But about anything neither one nor the other did not regret. By the way, Shulzhenko, like Dichkovsky, was not too fond of revising his work in films: for some reason he was embarrassed.

Not always a pioneer is an example to all the guys

The actors of the movie "Dirk" and the film "Bronze Bird" were the same team, because the second tape was the logical continuation of the first one.

The protagonist of the trilogy Mikhail Polyakov is a well-read, clever, serious, responsible boy with a keen sense of justice. He always tries to help others, he achieves the triumph of truth.

But in the life of the young Sergei Shevkunenko, everything went completely wrong. The fate of the actors "Dirk" and "Bronze Bird" did not always present them pleasant surprises. And Shevkunenko's life was a bright and vivid confirmation of this. Although in many ways he was to blame himself.

His parents worked at Mosfilm: my father was the director of the 2nd creative association of the studio, and my mother was the assistant to the director. Sergei was the second child, the oldest daughter Olga grew up in the family.

Mom had to go back to work after the death of cancer in 1963, her husband, Yuri Alexandrovich (she did not work for several years, led a household). Serezha was brought up by her sister. But in 1972 she married and left first for Israel, and then for the United States. Sergei was left to himself, and his sister was not an authority for him. He contacted a bad company. To save his son from pernicious influence, his mother brought him to Mosfilm.

The ideal pioneer

Director Nikolai Kalinin was just beginning to work on the adaptation of Anatoly Rybakov's novel The Dirk. Seryozha ideally suited him for the role of Misha Polyakov. In addition, according to some sources, it was the author of books that Rybakov personally approved Shevkunenko for the role of Polyakov. The hit in the image was more than accurate. And on the screen the young actor behaved easily and at ease, much better than his bandmates. A year after the triumphant release of the screenshots of the picture "Dirk" was shot his sequel - the film "Bronze Bird". Shevkunenko left his acting track and in the tape "Bronze Bird". Actors, whose fate has changed dramatically after these shootings, at that time just enjoyed this interesting project and played from the heart. And about Sergey after the end of filming began talking, as a talented young actor.

Artist

After finishing 8 classes the guy did not want to study further. And his so brilliantly begun career broke off suddenly after the fight (Sergei was then 16 years old). He was sentenced to a year. From this moment his life was a vivid illustration of the movie: "stole - drank - in prison." For 17 years he had five walkers. "Lawyers" gave him the nickname Artist. Even Sergei's marriage to the charming girl Elena did not make him change his life.

In 1994, he once again goes to freedom, conjoins the "brigade", which controls the adjacent to the "Mosfilm" territory. Soon the interests of his team are colliding with the interests of the Kazan group. And seriously, Sergei decides to go with his mother to his sister in the US. They planned to move to the last days of February. But none of this did not work out.

On February 11, 1995, at about half past eleven in the evening, Shevkunenko came home. In the entrance, where he was waiting for the killer, he went alone (bodyguards were released). Sergei managed to get a small injury in the stomach, while he ran into the elevator. He managed to run into the apartment and close the door behind him. But he did not take the keys out of the keyhole in a hurry. The killer followed him. There were five bullets in his pistol. He killed Sergei, his 76-year-old mother, two, and killed Shevkunenko.

The star of a talented actor who never managed to become a world famous movie star has left, leaving a palm print on the Walk of Fame, or "a thief-in-law".

A true message to future generations

Yes, the film "The Bronze Bird" (the actors and roles they played in, so fond of millions of spectators) made of the little stars that became famous in all cities of the Soviet Union. Yes, and the actors more adult and already appeared on the screen, added a certain popularity. And yet, it was a picture of friendship, mutual assistance, good aspirations. She instilled in the audience the correct concepts and thoughts, the manner of behavior. Perhaps this is what gave the band such a long life, even today, after so many years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the film looks with equal interest not only to middle-aged people who grew up on it, but also their children and even their grandchildren. And it's worth a lot.
