Plot

The action takes place in the 80s of the last century in western Texas, where crime is flourishing, and criminals have long seized all power. Welder Lewellin Moss, while hunting antelopes in a desert area, finds a truck full of kilograms of heroin, a mountain of corpses and a tempting sum of several million dollars. A man decides to take the money himself, but he is noticed by the bandits who arrived. The welder miraculously leaves the pursuers. Unfortunately for the main character, his personality is quickly calculated by the killer Anthony Chigur, and then by Sheriff Bell.

For safety reasons, Lewellin sends his family away from Texas. He himself disappears in a dilapidated country hotel, hiding a briefcase with money in the ventilation duct. In the meantime Chigur comes to his house, turns everything upside down, and then starts to drive around the neighborhood, searching for a welder.

Lewellin feels something is amiss and settles in another hotel room, not forgetting to take money with him. However, Anton finds him and begins a fierce battle, which ends with the death of an accidental witness. Both marksmen are seriously injured. Lewellin, who left with money, is forced to throw a suitcase into the grass on the border with Mexico, and he goes to the hospital to get himself back to normal (during the bout, he received several wounds).
