Sympatho adrenal crisis

The sympathetic-adrenal crisis happens suddenly, without any precursors. As a rule, it is accompanied by a sensation of pulsation and severe pain in the head, a violation of the rhythm (sometimes pains) of the heart, trembling (tremor in the form of chills) and numbness of the limbs, a sense of anxiety, panic, fear, increased temperature and blood pressure. In the blood, the level of glucose and leukocytes sharply increases. The sympathoadrenal crisis ends, just as it begins, suddenly. This highlights a large volume of light urine. Subsequently, the patient has an asthenic condition (a state of impotence, weakness, chronic fatigue). Sympatho-adrenal crisis for symptoms, causes, flow and treatment is quite similar to hypertensive crisis.

The most immediately characterized panic attack is a sudden fear or physiological discomfort. This is due to the release of adrenaline into the blood in a colossal amount. In this case, an overdose of the body with this substance occurs, and sympathetic-adrenal crises occur. Treatment of such manifestations to date is quite effective. This also applies to cases in which the patient, having experienced unpleasant symptoms and being under their influence, causes relapses of this condition on their own. It should be noted that all manifestations of this condition refer only to the person himself and his state of health, since they are the results of the organism's struggle with sudden chemical processes. The most unpleasant sensation accompanying the sympathetic adrenal crisis is suddenly encompassing panic or fear, while a feeling of trust in the environment and a sense of security disappears.

Panic attacks against the background of neuroses with a breakdown of the functions of the nervous vegetative system can occur due to an erroneous command from the brain to the adrenal glands, which releases adrenaline in excess.

There are also a number of psychological reasons for the onset of a panic attack. As practice shows, the main ones are severe stresses and psychological traumas, suppressed by man's willpower, and the strongest fright and experience, forced into the subconscious.

Episodes of panic attacks accompany such diseases as: phobias of various kinds, syndrome of prohibition of drugs or alcohol, depression and others.

For patients who have a recurrent sympathetic adrenal crisis, treatment should be comprehensive - aimed at eliminating the psychological cause in combination with medications that affect adrenaline reduction.

Panic attacks are largely affected by people who, with the help of their willpower, did not allow themselves to experience joy, grief or excitement until the end. Thus, the emotions that are hidden deep into the subconscious are suddenly manifested in the form of a state of panic. As practice shows, panic therapy is quite successful. In this, the strength of the patient's will is of great importance. With her help, a doctor-psychotherapist has the opportunity to eliminate the cause of panic disorder.

Modern psychotherapeutic clinics have the whole range of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. A competent doctor will select the necessary antidepressant, aimed at removing acute manifestations of the disease. So for a sharp decrease in the intensity of symptoms, benzodiazepines are prescribed, to prevent the onset of attacks, the use of drugs with a slow onset of action is preferred. The effect is observed from the use of antidepressants of a new generation. However, the most important part of psychiatric care is the active joint work of the doctor and patient, aimed at identifying and eliminating the global cause of the disease causing panic attacks.
