Swimmer Vladimir Morozov: biography, personal life, sports career

One of the most promising swimmers of today's Russian team - Vladimir Morozov - made a dizzying sports career. With all the available options, he chose the path of a Russian athlete and successfully defends the colors of our flag in the competitions of the highest rank.

Childhood and family

June 16, 1992 in Novosibirsk was born Vladimir Morozov, a swimmer in the future, and at the time of birth is an ordinary boy. When the baby was only a year old, his parents broke up, and the child remained in the care of his mother. She left a grown-up son from her grandparents in Koltsovo, near Moscow, where he started swimming at the age of 9. His first coach is Igor Vladimirovich Demin, who not only discovered talent in the boy, but also became his counselor and mentor for life. After all, Vladimir had no father, and he needed a male example and support, he found it all in the face of the coach.

First successes

In order to get high results, you need to start sports very early, then you can have a real champion biography. Vladimir Morozov comes to swimming quite late, and the first achievements also come later than other children. At the age of 14 he even seriously wants to quit swimming, because the training system for him was unbearable. He had to swim for many hours, but the results did not bring. Achievements begin to appear only after changing the system of training in 16 years. In the US, Morozov conquers the first peaks, he has several records of the USA swimming at a distance of 50 m among boys, in 2010 he wins the title of "The Best Swimmer of the Year" among schoolchildren.

American History

In 2006, Vladimir Morozov moved to the United States. His mother remarried and took the child to Los Angeles. The boy was very difficult, especially at first. He did not know the language at all, he had no friends, he had nothing to occupy himself, and Volodya went to the local swimming section. The coach asked to demonstrate his skills and after the swim Morozov immediately took him to the section, because he swam better than anyone who was then in the pool. He began training with David Salo on the new system, and it was the combination of Russian and American schools that allowed him to get ahead.

Vladimir Morozov says that the Russian school was built on grueling swimming exercises, the emphasis was on honing the techniques of navigation. While in the US, training is based on the development of endurance. Every day an athlete for two hours is engaged in the gym, develops muscles, trains the heart and therefore can endure colossal loads more easily.

Special technique of Morozov

Vladimir Morozov is a swimmer who was able to take the best from both systems and achieve high results. Today he trains in the Volga club (Volgograd) with Viktor Avdienko and in the American club Trojan with David Salo. He says that there is a big difference in approach. In the US, the results depend on the athlete himself, the coach develops a training program, but does not check the results, does not follow the sharpening technique. The swimmer himself must invest and fight for the result. In the US, the spirit of competition is very strong, athletes look at each other, and their successes motivate others to new achievements. In America, sport is a business, stars can invest a lot of money, but to achieve this level, a sportsman needs to achieve a lot himself. At the same time the American system seems to him more interesting and diverse, but the Russian school helps to achieve high results.

In Russia, the coach works individually, gives specific advice to the athlete, helps increase productivity. Here, with the swimmer, the renowned trainer Viktor Avdiyenko, through whose hands not one Russian champion passed, but also a unique specialist Sergei Koigerov, the candidate of pedagogical sciences, he developed a unique training system for Morozov. It includes a comprehensive analysis of the athlete's performance and physical fitness, testing the swimmer's movements in water and on land using video cameras, tracing shortcomings in technique and unnecessary movements. All this makes it possible to significantly improve the sports results of Morozov.

Achievement list

Morozov had all the chances to perform under the star-striped phage, but he decided not to change his citizenship and from 2011 he is in favor of the Russian national team.

Vladimir Morozov, whose photo was decorated with all the world's sports media, became a celebrity. Specialization of the sportsman: crawl, swimming on the back, complex. By the age of 23, Morozov has a large list of awards and achievements. He is a bronze medalist in the relay of the London Olympic Games, winner of two gold and one silver medal of the 2012 World Championship in Istanbul, seven medals of the European Championship 2012 in Chartres. Disqualification

The season of 2014 was not very successful for Morozov, he was sick, but he was able to show high results, but 2015 brought real pain. August 5, 2015, the world's media has flown the news: Vladimir Morozov is disqualified! The leader of the Russian team, the hope of Russian swimming, was suspended from participation in the semifinals and finals of the World Cup for false start. This immediately crossed out all the hopes of the Russian four for medals. The reason for what happened is explained by psychological factors, he says he was very nervous at the start, and the signal was delayed, so he fell a second earlier than needed. Experts say that the stage of the semi-final is the most difficult and exciting for the athletes: you must definitely get into the eight, but do not spill all the forces and leave a reserve for the final. This stage is very disliked swimmers, and Morozov had something to worry about, because in Berlin at the European Championships for the same reason, he did not reach the final at 50 and 100-meter distance. But if in Vladimir Vladimir was not in the best shape, then to Kazan he was brilliantly prepared and seriously hoped for medals. After the championship athlete worked with psychologists and said that nothing will change in the program of preparation for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The only thing that hinders him is his nerves, but he intends to cope with them at the main competitions.

Personal life

Vladimir Morozov, whose personal life is the object of close attention of millions of girls around the world, today says that his heart is free. He does not have time for serious relationship yet, he is young and seriously committed to a career in sports. In his spare time, Morozov likes to surf, meet with friends, play video games on the console, likes to sleep. While he is only seriously interested in sports, he says that he is grateful to all the fans who write to him in social networks and are rooting for him in competitions.

Future plans

Vladimir Morozov, whose voyage has become a matter of life, is still making plans for the future in the field of sports. But after the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro intends to return to higher education at the University of Southern California in the US, while this he does not have enough time. The athlete is very young and says that as a sprinter he must reach the peak of the sport form by about 24-28 years, so he still has many achievements and competitions ahead of him. His idol and athlete, to whom he equals, is Alexander Popov, who won 6 Olympic medals, Vladimir dreams of breaking this record.
