Jean Alesi, whose biography originates from the Italian auto mechanic who immigrated from Sicily to France, was born on 11.06.1964. His full name in Italian sounds Giovanni Roberto Alesi. But all over the world he became known as Jean Alesi.

Racer likes not only high-speed sports, he also enjoys tennis, golf, water skiing. Living in a suburb of Geneva, he is engaged in winemaking. He has his own vineyard in the Avignon area.

Debut in auto racing

Already in 1990, at the wheel of the car of this team, he finished second in the race in the American Phoenix. In the fight he lost only to the legendary Ayrton Senna. Alesi achieved the same result at the Monaco Grand Prix. This attracted attention from the leaders. The driver was faced with the choice - to join the team "Ferrari" or "Williams".
