Stamp seal is an attribute of authenticity and reliability

For many centuries the stamp was and remains an integral part of business and political life. Each document is certified with an impression, where the name of the enterprise or the person's name confirming its authenticity is displayed. According to the "Tale of Bygone Years" of the period of 944, the stamp stamp used in Russia by the prince or boyar of that time was a ring on his finger or an ingot of gold or silver. She had an engraving of the heraldic sign or the name of a nobleman.

Nowadays, the family stamp again becomes very popular. Many people dig through the archives and search for heraldic signs of their ancestors in order to capture and leave for posterity their own attribute of the family. Of course, in the old days the stamp seal was more important than a personal signature. Nowadays this is not always true.

Today, the stamp is necessary for every enterprise. Although certain requirements have been legislated in relation to the form and information contained in its field, there are currently no legal norms for its application. In order to assure the authenticity of the document and feel like an equal partner in the transaction, even the smallest enterprise is trying to produce a stamp. Many private individuals are also trying to do this.

The seal stamp should be round, although nowadays many make it oval, and sometimes triangular or square. Her stamp on the document certifies that the signature given on the document by the official is genuine. Therefore, it must be engraved on the data about the company or its owner.

These inscriptions are called legends of a legal or physical person, depending on who owns the seal. This tradition dates back to the time when feats, personal achievements and merits of knights were displayed on the arms. As in the Middle Ages, the shield with the personal coat of arms was the only identity card of the knight in the armor, and today the seal reflects the essence of the enterprise.

Currently, personal seals are available to notaries and doctors, despite the fact that they work in a single institution with other specialists. The advantage of using stamped seal is available only to state organizations. Private companies for this must obtain the status of a state institution. The main seal of such formations as JSC, LLC or CJSC may have not only a round but also a triangular shape. It is certified by its chief executive - the CEO or the president. For branches and divisions in large enterprises use additional seals, which completely repeat the main stamp, but have their own serial number.

The stamp must necessarily display the name of the company along with the organizational and legal data. Also, it should indicate the exact location and registration number of the enterprise, together with the number from the Register of Seals. Here, the logo or the coat of arms of the company will also be appropriate. However, in order for a trademark or brand to be depicted on the stamp, it is necessary to have a certificate for it, a copy of which, certified by a notary, must be attached to the design of the model when registering the manufacturing order.
