Care at home is watering, spraying, annual transplantation and timely top dressing. In winter, a plant needs a bright light, in summer it must be shaded from the direct rays of the sun. Plant it advised in the ground for lemons or azaleas, adding to it a pine crust of the middle fraction. Top-dressing takes place from March to August twice a month. It is desirable to alternate mineral and organic fertilizers.

Pests

If the flower has for a long time perfectly grown and developed, and then suddenly began to wither, you need to inspect it for the presence of harmful insects. The plant may be attacked by a shield aphid and spider mite. The mealybug settles in the roots and drinks the cell sap, draining the spathiphyllum. The tips of the leaves dry, the honey dew appears on the plant - the sugary excretions caused by this parasite.

To control pests will have to use insecticides, penetrating the root system. Affected parts of the plant must be cut, periodically inspected and repeated preventive treatments.
