Society: classification in various spheres of life, types, definition of society
Society is a structural unit of human life. The definition of a society can be given both in a broad sense, and in a narrow one. But from this it does not lose its main function: here the person lives and develops, improves his knowledge and meets new people. In a word, it is in this cell of life that a person's socialization takes place.
The definition of society and its classification
Society in the narrow sense is a circle of people who have united on the basis of common interests or origin. This type can include classes, for example, nobles. Also, in the narrow sense, it is understood as a particular concrete society, for example, modern Russia. This type can include the stage of development of a state, for example, feudal society. Strangely enough, but the whole of humanity as a whole is also referred to a society in a narrow sense.
The definition of society in a broad sense sounds like this: it is a closely related part of the world or a form of people's association.
As for classification, usually three stages of development are distinguished: traditional, industrial and post-industrial society. The latter is often called simply informational. Traditional society is a society based on traditions. Here natural economy and natural exchange prevail, the economic system is the command economy. This type is characterized by high religiosity and low possibility of social mobility. The state completely absorbs the person. Thinking is always conservative, and the attitude toward change is always negative. The next stage of development is an industrial society. This Western model of building relations has come to the country thanks to technical revolutions and industrial coups. It is characterized by a spasmodic process of development, private property is the basis of the economy, and society itself seeks to rule over nature. In most countries, civil society is developing and the possibility of social mobility is increasing. The last stage of development is a post-industrial stage, or information one. The definition of an information society is this: it is a type of society based on information and services.
As a rule, these types develop in an evolutionary way. The economic system is most often a market system, civil principles are actively promoted in the society itself, a high level of legal culture and legal awareness. Personality in society develops and strives to influence the power. Its main features are high social mobility and the predominant role of education.
So, society, in whatever sense this term is used, is always a group of people. It is a part of nature in which a person develops and achieves success.
