Social tourism - recreation for all

Social tourism in our country and a number of other countries of the world is called any kind of tourism, which is paid for from funds allocated for social needs. Social and economic tourism is called upon to create decent conditions for recreation and travel for the poor population (youth and schoolchildren, disabled people and pensioners). Subsidies for this type of tourism can be allocated not only by the state, but also by various funds (state and non-state), as well as by various charitable organizations.

The social sphere of tourism and its components

In the system of social tourism, both physical and legal persons who take part in the creation and implementation of services in the field of tourism, as well as related activities related to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens, can take part in the organization of recreation for undercover sections of the population.

Social tourism involves the participation of social tourists, that is, individuals who need a certain product. This category of the population includes, first of all, schoolchildren, pensioners and invalids, in some countries - civil servants, persons in military service and even priests.

Active participants in the process of organizing tourism in the social sphere are many companies - hotels, hotels, restaurants, some companies involved in the transportation and accommodation of tourists. This is expressed in the fact that children and young people (under the age of 24) receive certain discounts for transportation, accommodation and meals.

Social tourism can be carried out in several directions, each of which is most suitable for a certain group of users. These directions are determined by the needs of tourists, their interests and preferences.

Tourism for rest is a journey (long or short-term), the purpose of which is the psychological and physical recovery of the body. This is a resort holiday, designed to restore strength and treatment, which uses certain properties of nature - microclimate, soil and seawater.

Cultural tourism is a recreation for the study of culture, which can be cognitive or pilgrimage. The first type involves visiting various attractions - cultural, historical or geographical. As for the pilgrimage, this tourism is aimed at visiting places with special religious significance.

Public or club tourism is a journey aimed at visiting friends or relatives in different cities (countries). In addition, club social tourism implies the association of tourists in certain groups of interests - sports or entertainment.

Tourism is sporty - active and incredibly useful. It is best suited for students, as it implies participation in sports events or (as a more relaxed form) passive nature of such participation.

Economic tourism - trips with commercial purposes, involving visits to events such as exhibitions, exchanges, as well as shops and fairs.

Rest can be:

- standard, which includes a full range of tourist services;

- individual, organized by the tourist himself.

The second form of tourism is most convenient, since travelers can independently develop, organize and implement such a holiday, which is suitable for them. The name "individual" social tourism does not at all mean that a person will go on the road alone - traveling can be the whole family. This is very convenient, since the best rest is one in which a person rests not only with the body, but with the soul.
