Shellac removal fluid, and how to replace it

Shellac coating keeps on the nails much longer than the usual manicure, namely 2-3 weeks. And since it's so strong, then, accordingly, and for the removal, you will have to spend a little more time than usual. For this, a special liquid is used to remove Shellac. You can, of course, replace it with conventional acetone, but professionals do not recommend this because the latter adversely affects the condition of the nails. They become brittle, weakened, lose their healthy appearance.

Of course, to use this or that means to implement the removal of Shellac at home, - the solution is individual, and the possibility of using ordinary or cosmetic acetone (and sometimes even simply a liquid for removing varnish, which contains acetone), nobody cancels. The procedure in any case is the same.

Necessary tools and materials

In order to remove the Shellac coating, you will need:

• Special winding (can be replaced with cotton discs and foil);
• Orange stick (to remove residual coatings after exposure to the agent);
• Liquid for removing Shellac cnd (can be replaced with acetone, conventional or cosmetic, and also use an agent for removing varnish with acetone).

The procedure for removing the coating

Initially, it is necessary to wash your hands well with soap (or feet, if a pedicure is removed). Then a special winding is applied to the liquid to remove the Shellac and it turns the fingertips (as in the photo). If wadded disks are used, then they must be divided into two parts, so that two thin discs are produced. Each of them must be cut to make "half-discs". They are also wetted with a tool (or acetone), wrapped around the tips of your fingers, and wrapped on top with foil.

After 10-15 minutes winding can be removed. This period of time is sufficient and that the liquid for removing Shellac acts, and that the acetone loosens the coating. The latter is then easily removed from the nails with a single film. If this does not happen to the end and there are individual grains left, then they can be removed with the help of an orange stick, this is very easy.

After the procedure, it will be useful to apply oil to the nails and massage it with gentle massage movements.

If it becomes necessary to do a manicure again, you can proceed to it immediately, starting with the adjustment of the shape of the nails.

As you can see, the procedure for removing Shellac coating does not take much time and it is easy enough. No special skills are required for this. It is only necessary to prepare the liquid in advance for removing Shellac, the winding - and you can get down to business.

It should be noted that when using a special liquid to remove boring manicure can be at least every day. No harm to the nails cause. This is one of the most important differences (and at the same time advantages) of a specialized liquid from acetone and other means in which it is included. This indicates that the agent does not really have negative effects on the nail plates, they remain healthy even with frequent use of liquid.
