Childhood and youth

Semenova Ekaterina Leonidovna was born on Christmas Day, in 1961, in a family of soldiers. Mom was the daughter of the regiment, the father was the commander. Katya had Luda's older sister. So they lived like everyone else - from wages to salaries. Katya accidentally showed an absolute hearing. She sat at the neighbors and picked up a melody on the piano, a teacher came and could not pass by a strange gifted girl, took her home and said that the child should be taught. The instrument was bought on credit, and little Katya began to study. Only in the family happened a grief - his father died when Katya was six years old. It dragged along for another - five years later the mother died from cancer. Katya was brought up by her older sister. My sister drank her husband and had two children, but there was no money. At the age of 19, Katya Semyonova accidentally saw an announcement in the newspaper about the All-Union contest of pop songs and a few lyric songs at home under a borrowed tape recorder. Wealth is a myth

It would seem that there should be a lot of money, apartments, cars, diamonds, gold, but money first went through your fingers, and then your sister got cancer. Semenova Ekaterina Leonidovna found the luminary from the oncological center on Kashirka, but she was kicked out of the office with the words that her sister is very neglected - it is useless to treat. She begged for help in tears, but everything was running, because she was on tour all the time. Then the sister was put in the department. And Katya Semenova began to give concerts in pharmaceutical factories, so that she could get paid for medicines, because then there was nothing in stores and pharmacies. So there were 20 ampoules for the sister, and hundreds for the separation. Sister was much better, it seemed that she was on the mend. But a secondary infection developed, which they could not cope with, and Luda died.

Family life

At 23, Katya marries the musician Andrei Baturin, who became her producer. In two years they create a group in which she is a soloist. Appears repertoire. Finally invitations to television come. The image is developing, Katya Semenova is a star singer. Little by little Katya begins to write songs, perform in a duet with Malezhik, to conduct a program with him on TV. Being under such a strain by my mother, and in Ekaterina's birth in 1985, the son of Maxim, it is very difficult. He was brought up by his great-grandmother and grandmother from the side of her husband. Eight years of marriage were difficult.
