Sergei Neverov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma: biography

Childhood and youth of the future statesman

Sergey Neverov Was born on the twenty-first of December 1961. The place of his birth was the city of Tashtagol, which is in the Kemerovo region. Ros in the family, which was directly affected by Stalin's repression - the maternal grandfather Neverva was shot in the thirty-seventh year. This tragic fact, according to the politician, had a great influence on the formation of his personality and on the attitude towards the Communists.

In his youth Sergei was a professional sportsman. From the age of fifteen, I went to competitions as a member of the national team for luge sports. But this kind of activity in adult life for him did not become the main one, since Neverov connected it with politics.

Education and the beginning of the work path

Sergei Neverov, whose biography began at the edge of the miners, chose the path through which millions of his countrymen marched. After school, he became a student of the mining and metallurgical technical school in Tashtagol, who graduated in 1981 with a diploma of mining electromechanics in his hands.

In the same year, the young man was drafted into the army. He served in Novosibirsk. After returning to the citizen to stay in his native Tashtagol Neverov did not become, having moved to Novokuznetsk. It was here that the future vice-speaker started his career. The first place of work was the mine "Esaulskaya", where Sergei worked as an underground electrician. In parallel, I studied at the "evening" of the Siberian Metallurgical Institute, mastering the specialty of qualification "mining engineer". Neverov graduated from the institute in 1989, and much later - in 2000 - received another diploma, this time a lawyer, becoming a graduate of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations.

Public activities of the future politician

Already in his youth the future well-known politician had an active civic position, as evidenced by his vigorous social activity in Novokuznetsk. The end of the eighties was marked for the last years of the Soviet Union mass strikes of miners. They also went on strike in the Kuznetsk Basin. And Sergei Neverov took an active part in this.

In 1991, together with his associates, he supervised the process of corporatization of the Esaulskaya mine, developing the foundations of a collective agreement and dealing with issues related to labor protection. Approximately at the same time he was elected head of the united trade unions of the region. He also replaced the chairman of the presidium of the Kuzbass coal trade unions and the head of the independent trade union of workers of the Russian coal industry. Sergei Ivanovich performed this work on a voluntary basis.

According to him, in 1995, he, along with the miners of Kuzbass, during the next strike knocked a helmet on the Broken Bridge in Moscow.

Neverov is a politician

Such active public activity spoke about the fact that Neverov wants to influence the life of the country and participate in its management. He was a direct road to the State Duma deputies.

And on December 19, 1999, he received this mandate, which many perceived as a pattern. Although without the support of the Kuzbass governor Aman Tuleyev, it would hardly have happened.

As a deputy in the parliament of the third convocation, Sergei Ivanovich dealt with issues of social policy, interaction with trade unions, etc. In general, all those that were close to him. The receptionist of Neverov Sergey Ivanovich was constantly full of pensioners and students who helped him to provide free legal services to the population.

Almost at the very end of his powers, Neverov was replaced by the faction "People's Deputy", in which he had previously held, "Fatherland - United Russia". And now - the next elections in December 2003, and again Sergey Neverov gets to the State Duma. "United Russia" and the same Mr. Tuleyev provided him with substantial support. It is noteworthy that the politician became a member of the party "United Russia" only eight months later.

In the parliament of the fourth convocation, Neverov replaced the head of the committee on labor and social policy, and in 2007 received the mandate of a deputy of the fifth convocation. He was engaged in problems of education, social protection of miners, the sphere of labor.

In September 2011, Vladimir Putin recommended Sergei Ivanovich to the post of secretary of the presidium of the General Council of United Russia, and the candidature was approved. The leadership of the next election campaign of United Russia was also dealt with by Sergei Neverov. The State Duma of the sixth convocation received among other representatives of the party and himself as a deputy.

In the winter of the same year, a native of the mining region celebrated his 50th anniversary. An original birthday present for him was the election to a new high office. On December 21, Neverov was deputy chairman of the State Duma.

Twice Sergei Ivanovich tried to take the post of head of the Kemerovo region, and both attempts failed. It was not possible to obtain the required number of votes.

Scandals and criticism

Like every politician, during his time, Neverov had unpleasant situations when he became the object of criticism. So, for example, in 2007, relations with a friend and defender - Aman Tuleyev, deteriorated so much that the latter began to publicly blame the former protege. He said about the disappointment of the residents of the Kemerovo region in his chosen one. They say, the deputy has a weak support for his region.

Also in the press one can find the statements of Sergei Ivanovich, one-party members, who accuse him of lack of independence and spinelessness. There were examples when Neverov avoided public speaking, if it was a question of acute, "inconvenient" questions.

Income policy

Sergei Ivanovich Neverov became involved in the scandals and in connection with property issues. For example, in 2013 representatives of the opposition movement (in particular, Mr. Navalny) showed interest in land plots in Moscow suburbs with a total value of ninety million rubles, acquired by the vice-speaker and allegedly executed for frontmen. In response, Neverov claimed that everything was bought for money earned by him, his wife and mother. In addition, the family sold its property in Novokuznetsk, and all the same the deal had to be made in installments.

It should be noted that in the official declaration of Neveroy these sites are marked. Their area is 640 and 2493 square meters. In addition, the family announced the ownership of two apartments (67 and 105 square meters), two cars (Lexus and Toyota), as well as a car place. As for income, in 2012 he made almost two million from Sergei Ivanovich and ten and a half million from his wife.

Charity

In addition to the negative, there are also positive reports about Neever. They concern, in particular, his charitable activities. At the beginning of the 2000s the politician helped the children's homes, hospitals and drug addicts by organizing the "Path to Yourself" foundation. And in 2007, the deputy acted as the founder of the fund "New Century", patronizing the old people of Kuzbass and young talents.

Political Hobbies

Sergei Neverov since childhood is passionate about sports. He enjoys skiing, playing hockey or tennis. He is also a big fan of the mountains and has a personal record - the conquered height of seven thousand meters in the Andes. But in the Himalayas at an altitude of six thousand meters above sea level, the patriot of his land, along with his comrades, hoisted the banner of Kuzbass and a piece of coal mined at one of its mines to Kilimanjaro.

A family

Politician Sergei Neverov married to his own age Olga Neverova. According to the politician himself, the wife earns better than he does when working as an executive director of the enterprise (which one is not advertised). The fact that the wife earns more than her husband can also be seen in their tax returns. The couple have two children - the daughter of the year 1998, the birth of Angelina and the son, born in 2003, Gleb. Also, in the mass media, data were leaking that the Neverovians adopted another child. Officially, this was not confirmed.

Initially, the family lived in Novokuznetsk, but when its head reliably entrenched in the Russian political horizon, the spouses with children had to move to a permanent residence in the capital of Moscow.
