Rules for the provision of postal services

Rules for the provision of postal services were developed and adopted in 2000, they describe in detail all the services provided by postal workers, the rules and the reception of postal items, what can and can not be mailed, the work of post offices, even signs at post offices should Be an established sample. Let's try to determine the main key points in the work of such an important service as the post of Russia.

In the "General provisions" section, all the terms that define the concepts of parcels, valuable letters, parcels and other terms are described in detail. Then follow the rules, according to which the mode of work is established: it is coordinated with local authorities and is determined by the convenience of using the mail services by citizens. The final thesis of the Rules contains the postulate that all falsifications of registered postal things are prosecuted according to the law. Then follows a detailed description of the provision of postal services.

Some provisions of the Rules

All postal items can be sent only as:

  • Ordinary,
  • With declared value,
  • Custom,
  • Simple.

Letters and postcards, parcels and parcels, as well as secograms (shipments intended for blind users of postal services) can only be of the established size and weight. So, if you send a letter and it does not fit the postal parameters, how they determine the rules for rendering postal services and exceed the maximum sizes from 110x220mm to 250x353mm (and weighing not more than 20g), then it automatically goes into another category and will be sent already As a parcel post.

The same happens with the parcel post. When it exceeds the required parameters, it will go to the status of the parcel. The maximum size of the parcel is 36cm in one of the measurements (height, length or width), and not exceeding 65cm for the value resulting from the addition of all three measurements. The maximum size of parcels: 50x50x40 and weight up to 10 kilograms.

The parcel can exceed the permissible weight by 100 gr. Parcels can be weighed in at 20 kg. In this case, as the rules for the provision of postal services determine, they become the category of heavy parcels and are obtained at specialized issuing points. With a weight of up to 3 kg, parcels are considered small. Accept and send parcels only to those countries with which the Russian post concluded an exchange agreement. Lists of these countries are in each post office.

A postman can bring a money transfer home, like a registered letter or parcel post, but for an additional fee. Further in the Rules there is a detailed description of what is permitted and not allowed to transfer. You can send even bees and live animals. It is forbidden to send weapons, drugs, poisonous substances and plants, products with a short shelf life, objects and things that are dangerous in their properties.

The rules for the provision of postal services allow you to put simple letters into the mailbox, notices, notices and parcels, as well as notices. Other postal items are delivered to citizens in person, at home or at the post office.

Rules for the provision of telephone services

These rules are no less extensive. The difference is that we use e-mail services, especially without delving into the subtleties of the postal business and the rules that regulate their activities. Telephone communication is carried out with the conclusion of a contract with each individual citizen, which sets out the basic points and rules. The duties and rights of the parties are described, therefore at any time it is possible to open a contract and read its terms.

The same applies to Internet services. Rules for the provision of telecommunications services are described in the contract concluded with the subscriber. Everyone knows their provider, uses feedback and, if necessary, can contact the operator and get an answer to a question or get technical support.
