Ring-shaped granuloma

Ring-shaped granuloma (Latin Granuloma anulare) - is a chronic dermatosis of an unclear genesis of a recurrent type, most likely of polyethological nature, characterized by the appearance on the surface of the skin of a large number of dense nodules-granulomas, which are grouped in the form of rings.

The development of the annular granuloma is considered as a morphological expression of the hyperergic inflammatory reaction of the skin that is infected by various inhomogeneous factors. The ring-shaped granuloma has a relationship with sarcoidosis, rheumatism, various chronic infections (especially tuberculosis - a kind of tuberculosis), but the granulomatous process is not the result of the specific pathogen, but the altered reactivity of the tissues.

In the case of an annular granuloma, various violations of humoral and cellular immunity are given great importance: an increase in the levels of IgG, IgM followed by the deposition of the latter, and also the S3 component of the compliment on the walls of small vessels. There are cases when the rheumatoid factor, anti-bodies to DNA is manifested, the process in the very beginning can have similarity with the features of the Arthus phenomenon. Ring-shaped granuloma in its further activity develops according to the type of HRT, with the participation of immune complexes, which are accompanied by an increase in the CEC. Along with this, there is a theory that granuloma annular is a type of connective tissue disease.

In the ring-shaped granuloma, endocrinopathies are very important, especially to disorders of carbohydrate metabolism (skin hyperglycemia). Patients with anamnesis often have diabetes mellitus, which is a significant risk factor for the occurrence of microangiopathies.

Ring-shaped granuloma in children and adults is no different, only the way of treatment, more precisely the dosages of the necessary drugs, is different.

Ring-shaped granuloma. Treatment and first actions

With the annular granuloma, there are a number of diets necessary to successfully get rid of this infection. Limit yourself food with a high carbohydrate content, people who have a high body weight - it is contraindicated food with low calories. Most likely, if you contact a doctor, he will write you one of the following drugs and supplements: B vitamins, Tocopherol acetate, Retinol, Ergocalciferol, ascorbic acid, Ferroceron, Gstimulin, Ascofer "," Zhekttofer "," Ferrum-Lek "," Conferon ". If you notice that the ring-shaped granuloma appears on the skin, immediately proceed to irrigate the infected area with chloroethyl. For the treatment of the skin, snow of carbonic acid and liquid nitrogen are also used .

When the granuloma ring-shaped, another good method of treatment is rubbing the affected area with various ointments, chopping the hydrocortisone suspension. Ointments use those that contain corticosteroids: a lokoid, elokom.

With widespread, deep forms of the annular granuloma that are torpid towards the ray, often recommend NSAIDs, UFOs, sometimes small courses of systemic corticosteroids, aminoquinolines, re-PUVA therapy, aromatic retinoids. But it is worth noting that these above methods of treatment are poorly understood and can cause both minor side effects and serious problems.

Do not forget that to completely remove the annular granuloma, only one rupture of one ligament is sufficient. After the rupture, the entire infected area slowly begins to subside and acquire a normal natural appearance. But some, not knowing that their granuloma has already begun to decline, continue to take therapeutic measures at home.
