The key on the 13 twist four nuts, which makes the support bearing to the body of the car. On this you can consider the dismantling finished, the shock absorber's rack will completely come out of its place. Now you can disassemble it into small elements.

Dismantling the rack

First of all, it is necessary to install special clamps for the screed on the spring. Uniformly tighten the coils of the spring, after which you can unscrew the nut completely on the shock absorber rod. In the event that a new spring is installed, the puller can be removed immediately. But if you plan to re-install the spring on a new rack or use it later after repairing the old one, you must carefully set it aside. In this case, it is desirable to tighten the turns with an additional steel wire. In the event that the puller suddenly shifts, the spring will remain in its original state. If the front pillars of the VAZ-2109 are being replaced, further disassembly is meaningless. You may only need large metal washers and rubber rings.

Installing a new rack

The installation of the new shock absorber on the nine is done in a completely reverse order of dismantling. Be sure to install a new anther, preferably elastic. But if the repair kit is of questionable quality, then it's better not to risk and install new racks. Also worth mentioning about one small feature. If you fill in insufficient oil, the shock absorber will not work effectively. If you pour too much oil, then most likely, there will be a destruction of the stuffing box in the upper part of the body. Accuracy when filling should be minimal. Therefore, a complete replacement of the front pillars VAZ-2109 will be the most effective option for repair.
