Radio in the car, or how to pick up what you need

For sure, most motorists can not spend an hour driving in silence. Therefore, many of them install powerful speakers and a high-quality source of music - a radio tape recorder. If a little earlier the radio tape recorder in the car was considered an element of luxury, today things are different. There are so many of them, and all are equipped with so different functionality that the buyer often does not know what he needs. Let's look at the problem and talk about choosing this equipment.

What car radio can be in the car?

These devices play media files can be divided into two large categories - those that show video and do not show them. The first ones are equipped with monitors, they are absent in the second type, however they can have screens that show the level of certain sound frequencies (in the common parlance "equalizer").

There are other versions of this equipment. Installable radio tape recorder in the car is also distinguished by the method of reading media files and, if possible, reproducing a particular format.

There are only three ways of reading information: they are already out of use and produced magnetic cassettes, CDs and USB flash drives. Radio recorders supporting CDs also differ from each other in the ability to read various formats of the discs themselves. It has long been out of use, but you can still meet CD-radio. This is due to the fact that you can record a disc in the car with only a small number of songs (usually one album). They replaced the tape recorder, supporting MP3-format. Thanks to this, you can put 10 or even 13-15 times more songs on an ordinary CD-ROM.

MP3-radios that can read CD-ROMs, still enjoy success. However, gradually they are replaced by DVD-players, because one DVD-ROM can accommodate 7-8 times more songs in MP3 format than a CD-ROM.

Modern radio, supporting DVD or CD, began to be made with the ability to connect them USB-flash drives (flash drives). However, there are also such audio systems that are designed only for them. A flash drive is by far the most convenient medium for information, since writing to it can be done much easier and faster, and a very small size makes it more practical to use. Therefore, the radio in the car, supporting both flash drives and reading discs, is the best option for purchase.

Additional Information

Before enjoying a trip with musical compositions, you must first record a disc. Depending on the type of CD-ROM drive, the correct recording parameters must be set on the computer, but in order not to risk, it is best to record at the lowest speed. As for the flash drive, then there is no difference how to do it, because the recording on these storage media is done through a special port that does not require any settings.

A radio in the car can also have several audio channel outputs, so the speaker system will also have to support them. Players can also have removable panels, a configurable equalizer, support Internet access, Bluetooth, connect various devices (iPod, for example), etc. It is important to understand: the "cooler" the radio tape recorder is, the more expensive it is.
