Almost everyone starts with a full and sharp refusal of smoking, which often, but not always, ends in failure. The thing is that with this approach a person programs himself to the fact that it will be difficult to change his way of life, and such actions will certainly require incredible volitional costs.

In connection with this, various organizations, such as the Ministry of Health, began to conduct various preventive measures. The smokers' lungs, photos of which began to be found in every anti-smoking brochure, can serve as a vivid example of the campaign being conducted. Recently, a huge amount of special social advertising has appeared, designed to demonstrate the perniciousness of this habit.

It should be given credit, in the past few decades, activities to prevent smoking have also been actively carried out: all kinds of actions, conferences, flash mobs and much more. To the public, the position of the need to renounce a bad habit began to be actively heard.

This phenomenon is most common in America, where it is generally accepted to write so-called guides to certain life situations. Of course, the call to fight a bad habit has stimulated a whole wave of research publications and special programs designed to help smokers solve their problem.

Naturally, the work instantly became popular, spreading from the bookshelves in a matter of hours.

If one studies such literature, one can come to the conclusion that it is all built according to a certain scheme: it describes methods of combating the already existing problem more quickly. Nevertheless, there are also authors who are trying to prevent it, but this information is more likely to be found in the literature on a healthy lifestyle, rather than directly on the fight against the nicotine addiction of the world's population.

Education of the younger generation

Activities to prevent smoking actively began to be conducted in schools and universities around the world. Basically, such methods of struggle exist in two varieties: part of the curriculum and individual conferences and seminars. In the first case, special disciplines are introduced, from the very childhood demonstrating the advantages of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Children are structurally given a clear understanding of the harm caused by smoking to the human body.

In the second case, individual events are most often held, for which specialists in the fields of medicine, psychology and sociology are invited who visually demonstrate to the growing part of the world population the harmful nature of this habit, thus forming a worldview in which smoking will be extremely negative.

Of course, when talking about preventive measures, one should not forget about communication with parents, because they are the greatest authority for a child in the process of forming his personality. Prevention of tobacco smoking, a conversation on this topic should be conducted primarily in a home, confidential environment in which the child will feel most comfortable. In addition, most researchers argue that the best precaution is to abandon the harmful habit of parents themselves.

Help in the fight, and sometimes prevent it, help specialists in this field. The program for the prevention of tobacco smoking for everyone will, of course, its own, and sometimes individually tailored for the client. Most often this requires special tests, passing tests, waiting for the results of certain studies, but as a result, a smoker who wants to "tie" gets his own system of methods for fighting nicotine addiction.

After a clear position has been formed on the need for refusal, it is possible to decide whether additional measures are needed. If smoking prevention is carried out, the memo can greatly simplify the task. Information in this case should be collected as much as possible, but at the same time compact. This should be a reminder of the main goal and task of the planned actions, to become a permanent motivation.
