The Sisters

Senior Prue (role played by actress Shannen Doherty), middle sister Piper Halliwell (in her role as Holly Combs) and younger Phoebe (performed by Alyssa Milano). Previously, the girls did not work together, but on the set they became friends and perfectly complemented each other.

Originally, the older and middle sisters, Prue and Piper Halliwell (photos shown on the page) lived alone with their grandmother's measured life. And then one day a letter came from the third sister of Phoebe that she was coming to stay. Since this all started.

Phoebe arrived Wednesday night, and the next day she climbed into the attic of the house and found the Mysterious Book there. The sisters opened the yellowed pages and read the spell. The next moment all three became witches and acquired magical powers. From the same book, they learned that their female ancestors were witches, and according to the high prophecy, Prue, Piper and Phoebe must become the greatest good witches in the history of magic. Their mission is to fight evil and help innocent people in trouble.

Piper Halliwell, biography

A good witch, an average daughter in the family of the Halliwells. In adulthood, the wife of the sorcerer Leo, mother of Melinda, Chris and White, Piper Halliwell was born in 1973, on August 7. Parents are the witch Patricia and the mortal Victor Bennet. On the maternal line, the girl immediately received the power of Wiccan freezing, as well as the magical powers of daylight, which she could dispose of at her discretion. When Piper Halliwell set off on a day off with her sisters to travel back in time, the sorcerer Nicholas, who met them on the way, begged to lend him protection from the powers of the enchanted, with whom he could not cope in any way.

In February 1978, the sisters were orphaned, their mother, the good witch Patricia Halliwell, was killed. Three girls stayed to live with their grandmother, whom they call "the old witch" somehow does not turn the tongue. The old woman, the kindest soul of a man, took up the education of her sisters. Among all three, Piper was particularly distinguished, she did everything she could, for whatever she took.

Cooking and Finance

In 1992, Piper Halliwell graduated from the school of cooks and before her the question arose about continuing her studies. In order not to leave her family, she went to a college nearby. Having finished it and having received a profession of the bookkeeper, Piper got a job in a local bank. Grandmother did not approve of the choice of her beloved granddaughter, she dreamed of seeing her as a chef at a large restaurant with a large staff of assistants.

Of course, the grandmother a little puffed, the granddaughter resigned from the bank and went to interview the famous chef Moore, on which the girl depended whether his deputy. And that's when she first felt the power of her witchcraft.

Adventures in the exam

Moore decided to "fall asleep" Piper, not to let her go to get a certificate of professional activity as a chef. He had already stopped the exam, but the sorceress neutralized him, froze him and pushed him to the far corner. Then she quietly added the missing ingredients to the control dish and finished the exam with brilliance.

When Moore came to himself, he admired the great taste of the vegetable stew prepared by Piper Halliwell for a long time. And the witch herself finally believed in her magical abilities.

At first, Piper did not want to put up with her status as an all-powerful witch, natural modesty did not allow her to take such an impressive instrument of influence on others as telekinesis and the magical power of transformation. But gradually the girl believed that all her abilities were directed only at good deeds, and calm came.

Caution does not hurt

Several times the witch was convinced of the power of her impulses, when she had to move her hand, how everything froze around and could not be thawed for a long time. Then the witch began to restrain her gesticulation, so as not to do evil inadvertently.

Once, Piper Halliwell, whose real name versus custom completely coincided with the witch given by the magical council, decided to test her charms near the church. The girl was afraid that she would be punished only for coming close to the temple. Waiting for a lightning bolt, she timidly approached the church gate and was much surprised that nothing happened.

In the evening, Phoebe's younger sister explained to her that in the world there was no more kind and more affectionate girl than she. And although Piper is a witch, but her spiritual purity can ward off any heavenly punishment, lightning and thunder. Believing in herself, Piper Halliwell began to visit the church as an ordinary parishioner. Although at the same time she still tried not to make sudden movements with her hands.

Character and performer

In the role of Piper Halliwell actress Holly Combs, who at the time of the series was twenty-five years old, the time of greatest prosperity. Her career began at the age of eight, participating in television commercials.
