For more than a year, the All-Russian action "Sport - an alternative to harmful habits" has been successfully conducted on the territory of the country. The goal of the program is to prevent the risk of deteriorating the health of the nation by involving young people, adolescents and children of all ages in a sporty and healthy lifestyle. In kindergartens, schools, other educational organizations, targeted activities are carried out within the framework of this action:

- contests and quizzes;

- sports competitions (relay races, competitions);

- thematic creative works (crafts for kids, compositions for schoolchildren);

- organization of volunteer clubs for schoolchildren and young people.

The objectives of the action are to attract children and young people to regular physical education and sports, to develop their creative abilities and desire to improve, in the formation of youth volunteer organizations to promote healthy habits and love for sports.
