Pattern apron for schoolgirl at the prom

Depending on the purpose, the pattern of the apron may be different. The simplest version is an apron without a breastplate. It is enough to trim a rectangular piece of cloth from three sides, and sew a string of suitable length from the fourth side. But the apron with the breastplate is much more beautiful and functional, and on the basis of this pattern you can sew the most diverse models.

In order for the product to sit beautifully on the figure, the pattern of the apron should have a dart or an assembly at the waist. Important is the correct length of straps, as well as their location. Now we will consider one of the basic variants of patterning aprons, which can be modified if desired: round the hem on the hem, remake the breastplate, sew ruffles, etc.

School apron, pattern for 42 sizes

It is necessary to remove three measures:

  1. Waist circumference (68 cm).
  2. Length of the hem, if desired (we have 53 cm).
  3. Length straps. The measuring tape should be thrown over the shoulder and measured from the front waist to the waist line from the rear (72 cm).

Draw a rectangle with sides 53 cm (length of hem) and 22 cm (waist circumference / 4 + 5). It will be half of the bottom. Mark on the sheet where you will have the waist line, and where - the hem of the apron. Rotate the sheet so that the waist line is at the top, and the hem is at the bottom. Then the lateral line will be on the right, and the middle part, along which the half of the halves pass, is to the left.

From the top left corner of the original rectangle, set 1 cm down. Connect the resulting point to the upper right corner. Divide the line just divided into 3 equal parts. At the points of division will be located folds. The width of the fold is 4 cm, that is, on both sides of the points of division it is necessary to postpone 2 cm. Mark the folds with long vertical lines on the pattern.

We pass to the drawing of the hem. From the right bottom corner of the rectangle, put 4 cm to the right, then upwards 1 cm. Connect the resulting point with a straight line to the right upper corner of the rectangle, and smoothly connect the same point to the lower-left corner of the rectangle. Pattern apron in the bottom is ready.

The bib looks like a trapezoid. Its height is 13 cm, the width in the upper part is 12 cm, in the lower part - 10 cm.

The shavers have a length of 72 cm (by measurement) and a width of 16 cm. They are sewn together folded in half.

The belt can be performed in different ways. If you make a belt on the fastener, its dimensions are 72 cm in length ( waist circumference + 4 cm) and 5 cm in width. If you want to tie a belt, increase the length by about half.

The pocket is made 10 by 10 cm. The top right corner of the pocket is 7 cm down and 5 cm to the left of the upper right corner of the pattern. If desired, you can make two pockets, but, since the school apron now sews only elegant, pockets on it are optional.

Pattern apron is ready, now a few words about how to cut and sew. First, do not forget about the allowances for seams: 1.5 cm in the place of grinding two cloths, 2-5 cm in the place of folding the fabric. For the belt, cut two parts.

First, bend and hem bottom and sides of the bottom half of the apron. Fold the folds and fasten them to the live thread. Fold and suture the top of the bib. Bend the straps in half along and sew the bib into the seam of the straps. Take both the details of the belt. Find the middle of the details of the bib, belt and bottom of the apron, combine them all. On the live thread, sweep the belt, inserting the details of the breastplate and the lower half of the apron into the seam of the belt. Remove excess fabrics immediately. Run a line around the edges of the belt, remove the auxiliary threads and sew a pocket. The apron is ready!
