Screed will be the basis for laying the parquet. However, this is not the best and not the most rational method of laying. Why? Because it is necessary to take into account unforeseen situations - for example, the "flood" that neighbors can provide to you from above. What will happen in this situation with parquet? He will swell, and all your expenses and diligence will go to waste. Therefore, before the parquet laying begins with your own hands, measure the floor area on which it will be held, and buy sheets of moisture-proof plywood that will become the basis for parquet. Why plywood? Because parquet, having such a basis, will not be damaged - after all the "impact" will take on this particular auxiliary material, which easily changes its shape when exposed to temperature or moisture. Previously, for the foundation under the parquet, sheets of particleboard were used, but recently, due to its lack of ecological compatibility with the use of this material, they refuse. In addition, unlike plywood, it is more friable and hygroscopic.

Plywood sheets must be cut to the required dimensions. Begin its laying from the corner. In the presence of radiators near the walls in this place on the sheet is cut out so that the plywood snug against the wall. The sheets are fastened to the screed with a special glue, and then fixed with screws. This requires a perforator, which will break through the holes in the coupler. Do not forget to drive a dowel into each of them. In order to screw the screws, you need a screwdriver. They are distributed taking into account 4-8 pieces per square meter. Also, make sure that the self-tapping screw is inside the plywood sheet, otherwise they will be a great hindrance when laying parquet with your own hands.

Keep in mind that navigating along the wall line is not the best option, because they are often curves.

Methods of laying a parquet are numerous, today the most common are the ways in which it fits into a runaway. In order to lay parquet in this way, it is best to make a landmark on the diagonal of the room. To do this, you score a small carnation in one corner, right in the plywood, and the second carnation - in the other corner diagonally. Parquet is required to be laid, while simultaneously gluing it and nailing with small studs. They are clogged directly into the groove of the plate, the angle should be about 90 °. These carnations will not be visible, because they close with the next die. One nail is recommended to score three nails. In this case, two of them are hammered from the front side directly into the groove, and the third - into the side of the die. The glue is applied with a spatula, but do not spread a thick layer, it is enough and thin. Do not forget that the glue is applied not only to the parquet, but also to the plywood.
