Voronezh is a fairly large city with a population of about 1.3 million people. And of course, local citizens feel the need for places for outdoor recreation. In recent years, the mayor's office is meeting halfway: several recreational facilities have been reconstructed, and Dynamo Park has also awaited its turn. Voronezh is rightly proud of this place, but over time everything here has fallen into decay, since no repairs have been carried out since the beginning of the 1990s. Today the situation has changed, and the townspeople can rediscover the park built for the Tsar himself.

Ancient Park

This is the largest (and ancient) city park - it was laid in the middle of the XVIII century by the highest order of Emperor Alexander II (171 years ago). Then the said object was considered to be a "dendrological nursery of the third category", but already by the 60th years of the century before last, otherwise, the "Botanical Garden" was not indicated on the maps. "Botanist" is the first diminutively caressing name of the park.

When the revolution broke out in the 17th, for a long time the country was not up to greening the territories, but already in 1929 the former tsarist kennel was given the status of a park named after Kaganovich (local immediately called it "Kagachom"). Such a cacophonous name he wore for a long time: Lazar Moiseevich in those troubled times was very popular and powerful.

What's in a name

Only in 1957, after the death of Joseph Vissarionovich's father of peoples, Kaganovich fell into disgrace and was removed from all posts, and the park was renamed far away from sin - he began to bear the name of Gorky.

This name lasted until the late 60's. Then (in connection with which, it is not known - Gorky, like nobody retired) the title was again changed - to the uncomplicated "Central Park of Culture and Recreation" (CPC & O), having managed this time without prominent cultural and political figures.

The current name - the park "Dynamo" (Voronezh) - is not official. So it was nicknamed by the locals themselves because of the proximity of the eponymous stadium.

Favorite vacation spot

In the 70's, its peak flourished. Well maintained alleys, fountains, flower beds. A number of pavilions in which exhibitions of achievements of the national economy were regularly held, so revered by the Soviet leadership.

The townspeople also loved their park: in the photographs of those years, large gatherings of walking people were captured. Then in the territory there were three ponds, connected by a channel - it was possible to ride on a boat. There were also attractions and cafes.

The Voronezhs were very proud of the parked Green Theater. To the open stage, steps were taken down the steps, and the scope of the events was amazing.

The service of the muses does not tolerate fuss

The theater scene remembers performances of Soviet stars of the first magnitude - Pugacheva, Barykin, Kuzmin. The Green Theater lived to a new level in art: in 1989, a cult group of times of perestroika, "Laskovoi May", performed here.

To date, this is the last concert that was hosted by Dynamo Park (Voronezh): the story in the Soviet press was not very high-profile, but according to rumors, because of the bad organization of the event, a crush was formed among the fans, in which 9 people died at once, not Then one girl. After this tragedy, the park was completely abandoned, and indeed it served as a good thing: his condition at that time was already leaving much to be desired.

The last Chinese warning

The trouble, as usual, came suddenly - and not alone. Most sources state that the reason that the park "Dynamo" (Voronezh) fell into decay, was a flood - but in fact there were two. The first happened in the early 80's: storm sewers were clogged and did not cope with the rainfall.

In the last days of November 1982 (according to the recollections of the citizens) the park was flooded with water, which almost immediately froze. Local residents of the older remember how they rushed on skates in front of the pavilion "City - Village". Due to the damage caused, the exhibition center could no longer function at full capacity, but the park was kept somewhat until 1986 (according to other sources - 1988).

Enraged element

Then the construction of the North Bridge and the traffic intersection was in full swing. One of the three ponds of the park fell asleep and asphalted (now in its place - parking). Sewer, in all likelihood, no one bothered, and then another mound blocked the road to the natural flow of water.

Just at this moment (the law of meanness is the only law that knows no exceptions) the heavenly heavens opened and the streams of rain fell on the city. The downpour of terrible power turned the park "Dynamo" (Voronezh) into a vast lake. The boys were happy to organize "sea battles", using as a boat, the doors torn from the pavilions.

When the water was gone, it turned out that there was almost nothing to save, in fact, and there was no time: the Soviet Union, in spite of Gorbachev's dry law , was staggering like a classic colossus on clay feet, and after several years collapsed altogether. The country plunged into chaos. Under the murmur, part of the park's territory was pulled: of the 289 hectares of area, almost 190 went under construction: the newly-formed elite needed places for cottages, and the city grew up - the skyscrapers reached the very borders of the green zone.

Is there life among the decay?

Actually, the remains of the park were saved only thanks to the amazing perspicacity of local authorities: in 1998 (not otherwise as a result of minute enlightenment) he was granted the status of a natural monument.

Of course, the holy place is not empty - some signs of life were observed there. In the only surviving pavilion, a private stable was set up - here you can rent a horse and ride along the runways. Advertising is even on numerous stands of the city: "Horseback riding, Dynamo Park, Voronezh, address - Lenin Street, 10".

In winter, enterprising citizens have managed to arrange a skating rink on the territory. Until recently, there were even a few cereal establishments, which no one would have called a decent language. At least, eyewitnesses claim that at night the park for visits is an undesirable place. Local contingent is such that not only property, but health can be lost.

They have known for a long time where the Dynamo park is located in Voronezh, jumpers (in the human language - fans of high-altitude jumps). It's a real expanse for fans to tickle their nerves: a luxurious outcome, including a flyover over the park (it was built for a long time, that's why the people got the name "road to nowhere").

Residents of nearby areas are happy to use the abandoned park for outdoor recreation. Such fun did not go "Dynamo" for the benefit: to the general picture of neuhozhennosti and desolation were added and a heap of garbage. Unconscious citizens managed to fill the channel (which was rolled on boats less than half a century ago) almost to the top, turning it into a gutter.

Reincarnation

Of course, for a long time this could not continue: the local authorities had to take some steps to ensure that the park "Dynamo" (Voronezh) stopped creating a "mess zone" in the very center of the city. A long time with the situation could not cope. And not because there was no desire or money (investors were), but because there were no land management documents. And the exact boundaries of the park, and the identity of its lawful owner (steward) were under a thick veil of secrecy.

The Dutch, burning with the desire to build here something like Disneyland in the early 2000s, were forced to clean up their nonsense, and only in 2010 the plan was finally adopted, according to which today the reconstruction of the Dynamo park in Voronezh is taking place.

Unfortunately, the work that was supposed to start in 2011, started only after three years: the city administration had no money. But now they are in full swing.

Innovate experience

The author of the project is the well-known landscape architect Olivier Dame in creative tandem with the Moscow "Megapark". The Frenchman has experience of such work: his efforts have already restored the park "Scarlet Sails", and in general today he is a leading specialist in Europe.

The scheme of the Dynamo Park (Voronezh) will not change significantly after the reconstruction: the previous plan is taken as a basis, and restorers swear that harm will not be done to the green plantations (and if there is, then the minimum). To monitor compliance with this promise, the Voronezh organization is involved in the work.

At the initial stages of the work, a general cleaning was carried out: tons and tons of garbage were taken out. A big problem was the sewerage, which almost had to be done anew - the difficulties were caused by the need to protect the trees.

Return the city to the Green Theater

Also, the reconstruction of the Dynamo Park in Voronezh involves the restoration of the Green Theater. Now his appearance is pitiable: the surviving walls are covered with graffiti and various inscriptions (sometimes obscene), and nothing left of the auditorium. There are ominous rumors that Satanists gather under the stage and conduct their eerie rituals there, including animal sacrifices (in social networks the information about the remains of tortured cats and dogs found in the immediate vicinity of the theater). However, it is quite possible that this is nothing more than a city legend.

In the future, over the restored stage and the visual rows will be a canopy (so that the events could not break due to the weather). Watch the presentation will be possible, located on the surrounding slopes without the allocation of a separate place.

All existing tracks and a sinking central alley will be restored, if necessary - rebuilt anew (as the central square of the park). Tennis courts, children's and sports grounds will be added, fountains, flower beds will be restored, etc. There will be restaurants, cafes and bistros on the territory of the park. New old park

Before the main entrance will lead to a proper type of parking and equip a public transport stop. To all those interested in how to get to the park "Dynamo" (Voronezh), the local advise to pay attention to the shuttle buses running between the Left and Right banks across the North Bridge. These go from the Voronezh-1 station, for example. From the stop called "Dinamo" to the main entrance to the park - 7-10 minutes walk.

Unfortunately, they did not have time to finish the works on time, (they planned to "surrender" to the Victory Day), but eyewitnesses say that the work is boiling. In any case, the picture is no longer deplorable: the park "Dynamo" (Voronezh) on May 4, 2015 became a place of grandiose action - reconstruction of the events of the Great Patriotic War.

Unfortunately, while the project provides for the reorganization of only 10 (out of 100) hectares. The rest does not have funds or inspiration yet, but the authorities hope that the situation will improve when the park starts earning.

According to the results of a survey conducted by the city administration, the new park "Dynamo" (Voronezh) will be called the Central Park - for it voted the majority of visitors to the city site. Well, he had many names - maybe, and this is not the last one.
