Painser pasyning: hold or not

Pepper Bulgarian (or capsicum) is a very valuable vegetable culture. He has no shortcomings. The nutritional value is huge, the fruit pulp contains a whole storehouse of nutrients plus a huge dose of vitamin C. The taste is wonderful. And the fruits themselves are pleased with juicy and bright colors: red, green and yellow peppers - a very beautiful and tasty addition to almost any dish.

Pepper is a thermophilic and hygrophilous plant, but it can be grown even in Siberia. There are special varieties, early and high-yield, derived specifically for the climatic conditions of our country.

However, there is one controversial issue when cultivating a culture such as Bulgarian pepper. Pasynkovanie: hold or not? At the nearest relative, tomato, this procedure is mandatory, but with pepper everything is not so unambiguously.

Pasyning peppers: the arguments for and against

Opponents and supporters of this procedure lead a lot of arguments in their favor. So, why should not you go for pas-passekers? First of all, because this plant does not tolerate such a procedure. Bulgarian peppers like to grow in heap, touching the leaves with each other, and their own foliage is quite thick. And if you remove your stepchildren, the plant can simply discard the remaining leaves and ovaries, so that there will not be any harvest in principle. Another argument of the opponents of pasyning is that there is no need for carrying out this procedure. The plant will be so beautifully blossom and bear fruit, so there is no need to expose it to stresses.

However, there is another opinion. Many people consider passek's pas-pas as an obligatory procedure. Arguments give the following: a bush will grow better, develop and give an abundant harvest.

However, as often happens, the truth is somewhere in the middle, and neither side is right.

How to conduct papyring

Bulgarian pepper really does not tolerate pasynkovanie, in fact, it almost does not need it. How can you determine whether this procedure should be carried out or not? First of all, we pay attention to the variety: there are a small number of varieties of Bulgarian pepper, which is recommended to conduct pasynkovanie.

The next thing you need to pay attention to is the weather. If the summer is wet and hot, then the pas-pas-slinging is mandatory: in such weather, the number of shoots will increase sharply, and they must be removed in order for the water to freely flow to the roots. In the hot and arid summer there will be very few stepsons, so it is better not to touch the bushes at all. Moreover, additional shoots will protect the soil from drying out.

If nevertheless there is a need to lead the pas-pasin, then leave 5-6 upper shoots. It is on these branches that the harvest will later appear.

To form a compact bush, many perform pinching - removing the upper part of the main stem. This procedure is also not mandatory.

Brief conclusion: if you are an inexperienced gardener, it is best not to go in for paprika. Harvest is likely to be less, but you will avoid the risk of ruining the plant.
