Its appearance and "filling" were not awarded with prestigious awards, but for those who need an inexpensive "workhorse", it has become an excellent solution. What can boast the Acer 5750, what are its characteristics, and what do customers say about it? Read on, and we will answer all of these questions in detail.

Appearance

The design of notebooks from the Acer 5750 series is pretty standard: strict and accurate. The case is made of embossed matte black plastic, on which a glossy logo stands out. Thanks to this, fingerprints do not spoil the appearance of the laptop. In the model Acer 5750G, the inside of the case is trimmed with beautiful bluish plastic, and in the standard series - dark gray.

The 15.6-inch screen provides a full-fledged work space. The resolution is 1366 by 768 pixels, the aspect ratio is 16: 9. It badly "pulls" the video in high quality 1080 pixels, but it copes well with the quality of 720 pixels.

The screen is glossy, liquid crystal, bright and has good viewing angles.

Overall, the laptop looks solid, but the build quality itself does not inspire confidence. The plastic flexes when pressed, so you need to be careful with it.

These characteristics are better than most models with about the same cost. And what does this give in fact? The laptop is loaded for about a minute, it can easily cope with several tasks, for example, you can work on the Internet, listen to music and at the same time keep several pictures open, and the system will not slow down. But watching movies in high quality, modern computer games and editing photos can cause a hang.

For enthusiast gamers, this model is categorically contraindicated. All that it can master is casual web games and low-resource old games.

But for office work, studying, watching movies, accessing the Internet, Skype-calls on long trips is a good option.

Software

The Acer 5750 comes with 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium installed by Microsoft's Office Starter 2010, antivirus and Skype. There are also several utilities from the manufacturer responsible for the operation of the webcam and backup data storage.

Portability

Notebook Acer 5750, like many budget models, is not very suitable for frequent movements. Here are some arguments to prove this statement:

• Weight 2,5 kg. If you use your own car, it will not be a problem. • The glossy screen strongly reflects in the sunlight, it's almost impossible to use the Acer 5750 laptop.
• Poor built-in speakers - quiet and fuzzy. Of course, the purchase of the simplest desktop audio system will be cheaper than the difference in price between a budget laptop and a model with a good sound, but this is convenient only for home use. • Not everyone likes the keyboard, although buyers with large fingers, on the contrary, praise it.
• The power button is located on the top left, directly under the screen hinge. This often leads to the fact that users touch it, adjusting the angle of the display, and accidentally turn off the laptop.
