Of course, there are a large number of similar programs. But I still want to try applications of higher quality.

IOS: how to install on "Android"?

Immediately worth the disappointment: completely transfer the operating system to another type of mobile device will not work. After all, why then does the smartphone market exist at all? But still there is an opportunity to try iOS. How to install this system on Android? Special programs that are called emulators will help. After all, buying a new gadget is expensive, and if there is a workaround, why not use it?

What is an emulator?

Before proceeding directly to the installation, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the terms used. So, an emulator is a computer program that allows you to recreate the work of a completely different operating system or environment in order to be able to run it on an existing platform.

For example, there are various "Android" system emulators for personal computers. They enable PC users to download, run games and programs from the Google Play store. Recently, the same possibility has appeared for owners of devices on the platform from Google, who want to try iOS. How to install on "Android" another system using an emulator?

Project Cider

This development was presented at a special conference at Columbia University, which brought together people who are studying computer science. The project allows applications developed for iOS to adapt to the core of the Android platform and its programming library. Binary compatibility methods are used in order to open both their own and "alien" software development on one mobile device. Thus, it turns out that it is possible to run applications with iOS on "Android."

The essence of the utility's work is that it allows some manipulation of the application code, giving it the opportunity to perceive it as if it is based on the XNU core. The code changes in real time. Therefore, the application interacts with the libraries and core OS "Android". A great help is provided by the fact that both platforms are based on ARM-architecture. To combine, the CycadaPress program is used. While the development is in the testing phase and is unstable.

Using the Firmware

If the previous method is still damp in order to fully use iOS, how to install this system on "Android"? This method is suitable for those who like to take risks. After all, it implies the total removal of the Android platform and the installation of a special firmware. But it is not suitable for every device. Manipulation can lead not at all to the consequences that are needed. At the most unfavorable outcome the user can get not a device with iOS, but a useless piece of plastic. Therefore, it is worthwhile to think carefully before making a decision.

If you still decide, you need to find the firmware file and download it. The downloaded archive should be written to a blank memory card. The device must be reset to the original settings, creating a previously backup. After that, the device is turned off. And it inserts a memory card with firmware. It remains only to make a reset and wait for the reboot, after which it will be seen whether it was conceived or not. If the device does not work, you will have to go to a service center. But if there is a boot screen, then the user can be congratulated with success.
