Mushroom kid is a representative of the family Boletovye. In the people it is called: goat, mullein, griller, ivanchik, etc. The fungus of goats is relatively little known. Description

Young specimens have a red-yellow huminophora, while in older specimens it is brown-olive. In older mushrooms the flesh is harsh, dense, elastic, has a mild taste and a barely perceptible pleasant smell. Tubular layer macromycete - prirosshy to the leg. Initially, it has a dirty yellow color, but as it grows, the mullein becomes light brown or brown. From the touch to the tubular layer, dark spots remain on it. Milk juice does not distinguish a mushroom of goats. Its spore powder has a light brown or olive brown color. The stem of the macromycete is cylindrical. Habitat and distribution

Mushroom goats grow in coniferous, as well as mixed forests. And it can be found on the entire area of the northern part of the temperate belt from July to September-October. Goats prefer wet places. The goat is an edible mushroom. He is referred to the third category. You can consume it after fifteen minutes of cooking. Longer treatment is not recommended, as the fruit bodies are brewed and become purple, which can spoil the aesthetics of the dish. Mushroom goats are salted, marinated, stewed and fried. They can be dried for the winter. From dry goats make a wonderful mushroom powder. These mushrooms have a rich composition.
