In no case can it be brought to the beds, on which already growing or in the near future will be planted any plants, fresh manure. The matter is that, decomposing, such a mullein allocates a lot of heat. As a result, you can simply burn the roots of plants. Fresh manure can be introduced into the soil only during the winter. For a few months (until spring), he will have time to overdo a little.

In the beds are poured only properly prepared fertilizer. Mullein previously maintained in piles for at least 2-3 months. Preliminary it is necessary to pour a layer of peat on the ground. Dry fertilizer is introduced into the soil mainly only in the spring, when preparing beds. This mixture is left for 1-2 weeks for fermentation. During this time, it is mixed several times. As a result, liquid mullein is obtained - fertilizer is unusually effective. For irrigation, the resulting composition must be diluted. On a bucket of concentrated concentrate take 3-4 buckets of water and water the beds at a rate of 10 liters per square meter. If the soil is moist, the solution can be made slightly stronger.

In autumn, the dry mullein is crushed and scattered over the entire area at a rate of 4 kg per square meter. Potatoes are often fertilized with mullein, using a slightly different method. When planting, just throw in each hole for a handful of fertilizer. This will be quite enough.

Mullein is a universal fertilizer. If there is an opportunity to use it in your garden, you must do it. Manure is in any case preferable to mineral chemical fertilizing.
