Mittens combined. Description. Manufacturing standards

When performing work involving pollution of any kind, it is necessary to use protective means, for example, mittens combined (in case you want to protect your hands). They can be used both at home and in various industries.

There are several types of mittens; All of them are made of different fabrics and materials (natural or artificial), designed to work in specific conditions. Advantage of gloves and mittens is practicality, ease in wearing, freedom of movement, durability. In addition to protection from pollution, they protect against injuries during construction, loading, unloading, agricultural and other work.

What are the combined mittens?

This is one of the types of protective equipment for human hands. This model of equipment is made of cotton and tarpaulin cloth. A special, wear-resistant lining on the palm is made of canvas material. It is through the combination of two materials in one product that these mittens are called combined.

Types of products

To date, there are five types of combined mittens. They are designed for different areas of activity:

  • Products equipped vtachnym napalkom.
  • Models with the same napalcom, which is whole-tipped with the bottom of the glove.
  • Mittens, in which the napalok is located on the side of the bend of the product. Such models can be worn on both the right and the left hand.
  • Products equipped with two foraging aimed for the index and thumb.
  • Elongated mittens with leggings, which are pulled together at the wrist by a special supporting elastic band. In such models, a handheld is provided, and the attacker is tuned.

The consumer is presented with four sizes of combined mittens: 0, 1, 2, 3.

Specifications of production

According to GOST 12.4.010-75 combined mittens are produced using special materials and threads, depending on where they will be used in the future.

So, the products are designed to protect against:

  • Mechanical effects and abrasion.

For the manufacture of the basis of such mittens, a dressed stern two-strand is used. Also here you can use a severe linen double-strand, a double-stranded half-linen or flax-capron, as well as a two-flute lanolassan.

In addition, in the manufacture of mittens, semi-linen canvas, material with lavsan fiber of stiff diagonal weave, as well as vinyl-skirting-T and elasto-leather (for the manufacture of linings) are used. Here, it is permissible to use a cloth of a mixed "Horizon" cotton-lined with impregnation of a combined type.

  • Spray of molten metal, sparks and scale.

For the production of mittens intended for work in hot shops, materials such as overcoat and linen canvas, treated with refractory impregnation and asbestos fabrics (for the base and lining) are used. The lining of the back of the product is made of heat-reflecting elasto leather.

  • Thermal radiation and contact with heated surfaces

The materials described above are used here. The number of refractory impregnation may differ, depending on the operating conditions.

  • Solutions of salts and water.

In the manufacture of mittens of this type, linen cloths and tents are painted smoothly with impregnation, a semi-linen canvas, treated with waterproof impregnation, as well as rubberized fabrics (for linings and bases).

  • Acid is of high and medium concentration.

To protect against concentrated acids, the manufacturer must use special materials designed for the manufacture of acid-proof equipment, woolly woolen acid-proof materials with polypropylene, polyester acid-repellent fabrics.

For the production of mittens designed to protect against acids of low and medium concentration, materials are used for overalls with polypropylene and lavsan, as well as acid protective cloth SHKhV-30. Harsh cloth is used only for the manufacture of those products that will later be processed with latex.

Below is a photo of combined mittens.

  • Low concentrated alkalis.

Here should be used: canvas half-linen, treated with waterproof impregnations, severe cloth, as well as a two-linen flax and half-linen.

  • Petroleum products (oil, oils and solids).

In the production of mittens designed to protect against petroleum products, fabrics with lavsan fiber, half-linen canvas with water impregnation, viscose polyester materials with oil repellency, water repellent vinyl stamping "Storm", as well as oil-and-oil resistant elastic leather are used.

Fittings

As for the accessories, in the manufacture of equipment for the hands use:

  • Tape elastic (for shrinkage of products),
  • Cotton threads treated with antipollution solution (these filaments are not used in the manufacture of alkali-protective models),
  • Lavsan and kapron threads (not used in mittens, protecting from high temperatures).

In the manufacture of heat-shielding products, special fenil and sewing threads are used. These threads, as well as reinforced, are used in the manufacture of products designed to protect against petroleum products. But the reinforced raw materials are not used in heat-protective, alkali-protective and acid-protective models.

Now you have read the description of the combined gloves according to GOST 12.4.010-75, which was introduced by the State Committee of Standards of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on January 1, 1976.
