However, Mithun Chakraborty, whose biography has many dark spots, often received threats from his former associates in the Naxalite community. Fortunately, they did not put their threats into practice.

Chakraborty debuted in the big cinema in 1976. His first work - "Royal Hunt" - earned him an award from the National Film Prize of India. The actor's debut turned out to be quite loud, but then followed by a recession and easy oblivion. Meanwhile, the more roles were in the filmography of the artist, the more often Mithun Chakraborty and his family received threats from the Naxalites.

Mithun Chakraborty, whose biography is interesting for its ups and downs, experienced a new surge in popularity in 1980-1981, at that time the films "Defender" and "We Five" appeared on the screens of Indian cinemas. Later, the actor recalled that he was trying to find his own role in which he would be comfortable.

In 1982, Mithun played Anil (Jimmy) in the movie "Disco Dancer". The film was so successful that it found its fans even in Turkey and the USSR. Today this film is called the classics of Indian cinema. "Dance, Dance" and "Mother's Oath," which followed a little later, consolidated Chakraborty's status as an excellent dancer.

However, the most successful works of the actor from a commercial point of view are the "Temple of Love" and "Justice!". In the 1990s Chakraborty was shot in action films and action films, gradually moving away from the cinema.
