Medication 'Charozetta'. Instructions

The "Charozetta" medication describes the gestagen for oral contraception. The drug includes only desogestrel (progestogen). The contraceptive effect is mainly associated with suppression of the ovulatory process. Increases contraception due to thickening of cervical mucus.

It is established that all the contraceptive oral preparations that include only progestogen (they are called "mini-saws" - "Eksluton", "Charozetta", "Microlut" and others) are allowed for use during lactation. If a woman has had sexual intercourse after the abortion or childbirth before taking Charozetta, it is necessary to exclude the fact of pregnancy or wait until the beginning of the first menstruation.

The effectiveness of a contraceptive may be reduced if the interval between two methods is more than two and a half days. In this case, you need to use additional contraceptives.

If the interval between doses is less than twelve hours, a woman should drink the pill immediately, as soon as she remembers it. Follow the tablets should be taken as usual.

When taking the drug "Charosette" side effects can be in the form of acne, weight gain, nausea, tenderness in the mammary glands. In addition, the drug can provoke headaches, mood disorders, decreased libido, discomfort from contact lenses, hives.

The drug "Charozetta" does not recommend the instruction for vaginal bleeding, the cause of which is not established, progestogen-dependent tumors, hypersensitivity. The drug is not prescribed for presumptive or established pregnancy, the presence, at present or in the medical history, of indications for severe hepatic pathology, venous thromboembolism.

Preventing ectopic pregnancy with traditional "mini-pills" is less effective than combined contraceptives. When applying the first cases of ovulation are recorded.
