Soon the troupe replenished with graduates of conservatories and choreographic schools in Moscow, Leningrad, Krasnodar, Kazan, Penza and Khabarovsk.

In the seventies the theater was divided into two separate ones - musical and dramatic. The first ballet in the city was staged in 1973. He was called "Forest legend". Music for him was written by composer AB Luppov. The plot of the libretto is based on Mari fairy tales and legends. The new version of the ballet was released in 2005. And today he decorates the repertoire.

In the 80 years the Opera and Ballet Theater named after Eric Sapaev entered a new professional level. There was a symphony orchestra. The repertoire expanded, except for operas and ballets, in it there were musical comedies, operettas and musicals.

Konstantin Anatolyevich brilliantly graduated from the Moscow Academy of Choreography in 1992. Immediately after completing his studies, he was accepted into the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater. There he soon became a leading dancer. In 1996 he was educated as a teacher-tutor. And in 2007 - the director-choreographer.
