Kuwait is the rich capital of Kuwait

Kuwait City (Kuwait City) is the capital of one of the richest and most developed countries of the Middle East, and, in combination, a significant port in the northwest of the Persian Gulf. The capital of Kuwait is located on the southern shore of the deep-water harbor - Kuwait Bay. There are a lot of salt lakes in the city, which fill with water after the rain. Since there is no fresh water in Kuwait, drinking water is created by industrial desalination.

The capital of Kuwait is the largest city of the state. Half of the population are indigenous people, and half are Indians, Iranians, Pakistanis, Lebanese, Americans and Europeans. Mostly, Sunni Islam is professed, but there are Christians and other religions. The currency of Kuwait is Kuwaiti dinar, the official language is Arabic.

The successful location of Kuwait suggests that the settlement was formed on this site for a very long time. The lively sea crossroads of trade routes have always attracted the attention of conquerors, so initially the territory was part of the Arab Caliphate, and then into the Ottoman Empire. Somewhere in the 16th century a small settlement was founded in which fishermen and pearl fishermen lived. From 1889 to 1961, the territory was ruled by the United Kingdom, but after Kuwait declared independence.

The capital of Kuwait began to develop rapidly economically after the discovery of oil fields. Such a treasure immediately attracted the attention of British and American businessmen. Most of the profits were exported from the country, which did not suit the government and local oligarchs, and therefore the independence of the state was proclaimed. Kuwait is a tasty morsel for many rulers, so it wanted to capture fascist Germany during the Second World War, as well as Iraq in 1990.

Today, the capital of Kuwait is a beautiful modern city with green parks and wide streets. Kuwait is divided into three zones: industrial, educational and recreational, the latter being along the seaside road leading to the city of Al-Jahara, and giving tourists a first-class holiday.

Kuwait is also of great cultural importance. Here is the National University, many libraries and museums. In the latter one can get acquainted with archeological and ethnographic collections, look at the products of local masters. It will also be interesting to go to one of the capital's theaters. Among other things, Kuwait City has also gathered under its wing scientists from many countries. Here scientific research works are carried out on agricultural sciences, oil geology, the country's economy and marine biology. Under the Council of Ministers, there is a group engaged in studying the history of Kuwait.

There are almost no historical sights, of all the ancient monuments of architecture, only the ruins of the Greek temple, erected around the 4th century, have been preserved. It should be noted that prices in Kuwait are quite high, but still this country attracts tourists. Only here you can stay in a not very expensive but comfortable hotel, walk through the huge shopping complexes that offer cheap goods, and also relax in the park complexes of the capital.
