Do you know the term "mnemotechnics"? This beautiful word comes from the Greek mneme - "memory" and techne - "art". It means nothing more than the "art of memory", the methods and techniques that make up the whole method of fast and lasting memorization of different information. Each of us came across the simplest mnemonic techniques in our lives.

We memorized the colors of the rainbow, using the famous "Every hunter wants to know ...". We memorized the cases through the senseless "Ivan gave birth to a girl, ordered to carry a diaper". A gypsy, who came tiptoing and tittering at the chicken, helped to master the difficult orthography of his native language. In the pre-mobile era, we memorized the phones of acquaintances, mentally linking the figures with the dates of their birth. So a primitive concept of mnemonics is available to everyone.

However, there are people who, according to the nature of the service, do not approach the development of memory spontaneously, from case to case, but methodically and purposefully. We are talking, of course, about teachers. The development of memory is one of the most important directions in the work of the educator, psychologist, teacher, and teacher of additional education. Mnemonics in the DOW takes on special significance. If you do not develop the memory of the baby even in the preschool age, already in the first grade he will have a hard time. One of the methods that have been most widely used is the so-called mnemotoblitsy. They are tablets, in the cells of which are placed some graphic images that help to remember important information. There are a large number of ready mnogotablits on different topics, but you can write them yourself, or even better - with children. Composing the most successful schematic encoding of a particular concept, the child not only remembers information, but also develops thinking, speech, and creativity. If the teacher does not draw very well, you can pick up the necessary image on the Internet.

Tables for small children (or at the initial stage of work) contain 4-6 cells, then the amount of coded information can increase. How is this mnemonics used in kindergarten?

1. To study any concept. For example, when studying the seasons, preschoolers are offered tables, in each cell of which a schematic image of the phenomena characteristic of this pore is placed. Winter: snow, warm clothes, skis and skates, a sleeping bear and a hedgehog, a frozen river and so on. Summer: bright sun high in the sky, downpour, swimming in the river, shorts and sarafans, green trees and flowers. The pictures in this case will act as those "hooks" that will not forget the new material, remember it, put it in the desired memory compartment. With further work with the table, the kids will learn how to compile a coherent story about this or that time of year. Mnemotables can be prepared for any of the topics covered: Fruits, Vegetables, Animals, Plants, Clothes, Sports, and so on.

Of course, mnemotablitsy - not the only method of memory development, used in the work with preschoolers. Mnemonics in kindergarten can include traditional methods used in adult education: rhyming, plotting stories and mnemonic sentences, games "Memory", "Snowball" and others. Perfectly master children and eidetic techniques (connecting imaginative memory to memorize words, letters, numbers, and indeed any information). The benefits of using such techniques in preschool institutions are beyond doubt. Paraphrasing well-known words, we can say that mnemonics in kindergarten - not a luxury, but an urgent need.
