Is instant noodles harmful?

Instant noodles are certainly very popular these days. The reason for this success is the ability to quickly and fairly tasty snack in almost all conditions, if only there was boiling water, which is why it is used on trips, especially by train, taking hikes and rest. It is irreplaceable such a product in the home or at work, when there is no possibility or time to prepare a full-fledged food. In a word, the unequivocal positive quality of such noodles is quickness and ease in cooking.

However, most people who eat this product are concerned with a very natural question: is it harmful for instant noodles for our health? After all, rumors have long circulated that it is not only not useful, but also dangerous.

In order to answer this question, one must first understand what the instant noodles are, what it consists of and how it is made.

So, the production of this product usually occurs by dehydrogenation. It is a removal by drying at high temperatures all the moisture contained in the food. Rapid swelling of noodles in hot water is not only due to this, but also because it contains emulsifiers-thickeners and starch in quite large quantities.

The seasoning of standard noodles consists of salt, sodium glutamate, as well as powder made from soy sauce, and various flavors, whose task is to simulate the taste of beef, shrimp, chicken, etc. Of all this composition, the most harmful is precisely sodium glutamate, which, as has long been known, acts on the taste buds and causes addiction, in this case - to the taste of noodles. More expensive instant noodles are flavored with "meat" from the included sachet. At the same time, such "meat" is nothing more than granulated meat waste left on meat production.

It would seem that there is nothing harmful in the composition of noodles. Useful, however, also nothing. However, scientists and nutritionists say that all flavors, dyes and preservatives, which contains seasoning, can cause serious damage to our body. Frequent use of it as food threatens with digestive system disorders, and sometimes even can cause serious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract like gastritis or ulcers. This is especially true for children, pregnant women and the elderly, since their body is weaker.

Thus, instant noodles, the harm of which is proved by nutritionists, has a negative impact on the human body. At the same time made from natural products (egg powder, flour, water) noodles does not have any negative effect, but it does not bear anything good, because it lacks fats, vitamins, proteins and other useful elements. That is, in addition to carbohydrates, there is nothing in it.

Of course, this product can be eaten, however, its consumption in food should be reduced to the maximum. At the same time, try not to use spices from the sachet, replacing them with ordinary salt and pepper, or even better - season the noodles with normal, unpackaged meat and fresh vegetables. Only in this case, instant noodles will not be in harm, but in favor.

Advertising convinces us that such pasta from a bag is a full meal. The pier, opened, filled with boiling water and enjoy life after a good meal. And this is also not entirely true. The fact is that because of the low content of vitamins, proteins and other substances necessary for the human body, instant noodles have very low nutritional value. And this means that after such a "full dinner" you will want to eat already after one and a half to two hours. So it's better not to poison your body with instant food, but to have a bite with an apple. Hunger also kills for a short time, but how useful.
