Integrated work in the middle group: a plan for conducting

Who among us has not visited kindergarten in the distant past? And it is not surprising, because of how the kid is adapted to the society, communication with peers and adults, his future successful adaptation in the school collective largely depends. Therefore, in order to become successful, sociable, have a logical mindset and be able to independently find solutions in any difficult situation, it is simply vital for the child to attend a kindergarten. Children of 4-5 years old are usually called preschool children. At this age, parents lead them to the middle group of the DOW. The task of teachers during this period is to maximize the children's abilities, enrich the knowledge accumulated before them and prepare them for school life. To do this, in kindergartens conduct classes, called integrated. About what they represent and what role they play in the intellectual development of children, we learn from this article.

What is an integrated lesson?

In simple words, it can be said that an integrated occupation (in the middle group inclusive) is nothing more than a set of techniques used to determine the essence of the topic studied by the pupils, to form a holistic picture of the phenomenon or process being analyzed. Such an occupation is thematic and includes several different activities. Thanks to this, the learning process does not tire the children, but, on the contrary, causes them to have an increased interest in learning and a desire to learn new and unknown. In addition, the integrated class in the middle group is short, and the guys have enough time to play and walk in the fresh air.

What should I consider when planning an integrated lesson?

Teaching preschoolers is a complex process that requires teachers not only to have the appropriate knowledge, but also diligence, patience and great efforts. It is important to note the fact that when planning each integrated occupation in the middle group, it is necessary to consider the following points:

  1. The material should be submitted in a compressed form, compact and clear.
  2. Each lesson should be thought out to the smallest detail and correspond to the curriculum.
  3. At all stages of the lesson, the material of integrable subjects taught to children should be interconnected and interdependent.
  4. The educational material should be presented in a form understandable to the children.
  5. The integrated occupation in the middle group should be informative, but compressed in terms of time frames.
  6. Classes must be conducted systematically, with a repetition of the material previously traversed.

The need for integrated training

The need for integrated classes in the PRI is due to a number of reasons, the most important of which are:

  1. The world around us is known by children in their vast diversity.
  2. The integrated occupation in the middle group contributes to the development of the intellectual potential of each child individually, causing him to interest in learning and cognition.
  3. It has been scientifically proven that the systematic conduct of integrated studies has a positive effect on the development of communicative abilities of pupils. Children learn to express their thoughts correctly, clearly and clearly explain their point of view.
  4. Integrated classes are held in a non-standard and interesting form, so that children do not overwork, are in good spirits, they gladly go on contact and maintain a dialogue.
  5. Integration in education is explained by the need of the modern world for highly qualified specialists, whose preparation should begin at an early age, that is, from a kindergarten.
  6. Due to the fact that integrated classes include several subjects at once, children have more time for games, communication and creative activity.
  7. Kids are self-fulfilling, express themselves, thus gaining faith in their own strengths and abilities.

Example of the lesson plan on the topic "Winter"

Before conducting an integrated lesson in the middle group on "Winter", the teacher makes a detailed plan. In a condensed form, it can look like this:

1. The goal is to enrich the knowledge of children about the seasons and the natural phenomena characteristic of them.

2. The task is to consolidate the knowledge of children about the changes taking place in nature in winter.

3. Planned results:

  • Children know what natural phenomena occur in the winter;
  • Unerringly determine the winter by its main features;
  • Can without help draw a picture on the theme "Winter".

4. Methods: story, dialogue, visual aids, analysis, experimentation.

5. Preparation for the lesson: a walk with the children, during which their attention is directed to how it snows, how it lies on the soil, trees, houses; The teacher offers children to dazzle a snowman, play snowballs and build figures of snow and ice.

6. Course:

I) Introductory part - the teacher dresses up in the Winter costume, enters the group and welcomes the children.

II) Main part:

An integrated lesson in the middle group on "Spring" can be planned as follows:

  1. The goal setting is to continue to familiarize the preschoolers with the changes taking place in nature in the early spring.
  2. Tasks - to consolidate the knowledge of kids about the spring.
  3. Used techniques: conversation, reading of literature on the relevant topic, observation, analysis, comparison, singing, drawing.
  4. Preparatory work: walk in the open air, during which the teacher asks the children to pay attention to the changes that have occurred in nature after the winter (melted snow, the roads run streams, there is grass and the first flowers, etc.).
  5. Course:
  • Riddles on the theme "Spring".
  • Reading a poem about the spring, after which the teacher asks the children questions.
  • Holding a didactic game, during which children should include imagination and demonstrate how the grass grows, flowers blossom, the sun shines more brightly, the day grows and the night diminishes;
  • Physical pause, finger game.
  • Carrying the game "Guess the Cub": the teacher calls the animal, and the task of the children is to correctly call his cub.
  • Learning a song about spring.

An example of a plan-abstract of the lesson on the theme "Autumn"

An integrated lesson in the middle group on the topic "Autumn" can be done by following the following plan:

  1. The goal is to consolidate the knowledge of preschool children about the fall and natural phenomena occurring in this season.
  2. Tasks: to teach the child carefully treats nature, to consolidate the knowledge of the baby about the fall.
  3. Methods used: dialogue, a small theatrical performance involving children, reading poems and guessing puzzles, visual material in the form of a slide show.
  4. Preparation for the lesson: the organization of the excursion to the forest.
  5. Course:
  • The teacher dresses up in a suit of spring, greets the children and asks them to guess a few riddles on the theme of autumn.
  • The teacher with an expression reads 1-2 poems about the fall, after which he asks the children questions.
  • For an integrated class in the middle group on the theme "Autumn" to be fascinating, the teacher offers the pupils to participate in a small theatrical performance. To do this, he gives them the masks of different animals and helps them learn a short text from 1-2 sentences.

You can conduct an integrated lesson in the middle group in mathematics called "Mathematical Trampoline". It is not difficult to plan such a lesson. For example:

  1. The goal is to teach the child to correctly determine the geometric figures, and also to distinguish between morning and day, evening from night.
  2. The task is to consolidate the child's knowledge of geometric figures.
  3. Methods: dialogue, story, observation, comparison, visual material.
  4. Preparation for the lesson: the teacher selects a set of geometric figures of bright colors for the upcoming occupation, arranges pencils, brushes, gouache, drawing albums, workbooks on the tables, a poster on which the parts of the day are depicted are attached to the wall.
  5. Course:
  • The tutor enters the room, welcomes the children and invites them to travel on a locomotive. In this fascinating trip, the teacher will have to be a conductor, and the children will be the passengers.
  • Preschoolers must determine their places in the cars in accordance with the figures suggested by them (from 1 to 5).
  • After the children take their places in the "cars", the tutor solemnly announces that the train departs.
  • Holding on to each other's backs, the children move around the room until the tutor announces a stop.
  • The first stop is called "Balls". The teacher shows the pupils first one ball, and then a few. The balls must be of different colors and sizes. Children are invited to name what color they are, shapes, and count their number.

Example of the plan for the training on FGT

An integrated lesson in the middle group on FGT on the theme "Cheerful walk" can be carried out, guided by the following plan:

  1. The goal is to familiarize the children with the safety rules that must be observed on the street.
  2. The task is to form children's skills of safe and cultural behavior on the street.
  3. Used methods: toy cars, traffic lights, white paper strips (pedestrian crossing).
  4. Preparation for the lesson: excursions within the city, viewing photographs and thematic illustrations, dialogue, reading cognitive stories.
  5. Course:
  • The teacher comes into the group and welcomes the children.
  • The teacher offers the children to talk and tell how each of them got to the kindergarten today. In order to simplify the task for children, the teacher asks them leading questions and shows different illustrations.
  • Next, the teacher shows preschoolers a traffic light and explains the meaning of each of its colors. After that, children are invited to listen to a fascinating story in order to better memorize the information received.
  • The game "I am a pedestrian" follows. The bottom line is that children build on their desks a real small town, in which there are big and small streets, roads, highways, pedestrians and various types of transport. Children should move pedestrian figures around the "city" without violating the elementary rules of safety.
  • At the end of the game the teacher asks pupils to draw a traffic light and color it, and then explain the designation of each color.
