So, today we decided to offer you several ways to prepare a delicious and satisfying salad "Melnik". By the way, this dish got its name because all its ingredients are rubbed on a grater or cut into small pieces.

This dish is sometimes also called "Hunting" salad. Where did this name come from, it is not known for certain. Regardless of this, the salad "Melnik", which can also be found under the name "Stary Melnik", is very satisfying, beautiful, airy and tasty.

Ingredients

In order to pamper your household and guests with this dish, we need to prepare the following products: salted mushrooms, onions, cheese, mayonnaise, vegetable oil, boiled beef meat, pickles, chicken eggs, potatoes and carrots. As for the quantity, here there are no strict limitations: it all depends on your taste preferences. In general, it is recommended to use four to five medium-sized potatoes, three carrots, four eggs, 250-300 grams of hard cheese, half a kilo of meat, a few pickles, 400 grams of salted mushrooms, a small onion and mayonnaise to taste. And it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the fungi are exactly salted, in no case not pickled. It is best to buy black mushrooms, but you can use redheads, freckles and other plate mushrooms, in excess available today for sale. As for cheese, in order for it to be easily rubbed, it is necessary to purchase hard varieties. Best of all, if it tastes like ostrenkim (a good option is Dutch cheese).

Cooking process

Since the salad "Stary Melnik" represents the crushed ingredients laid out by layers on a large dish, we will stop on the process of preparation of each layer separately.

From the 400-gram can of mushrooms, we drain the brine, chop the mushrooms into small pieces and put them on a large dish. Add finely chopped onions, vegetable oil, mix thoroughly. So, we got the first layer of a delicious salad.

Cheese grate on a fine grater, put it on a dish and grease with mayonnaise. The second layer is ready.

Next, we use pre-cooked beef, separated from bones and chopped into small pieces. Spread the meat on a dish over the cheese with mayonnaise.

Finely chop the pickled cucumbers - this will be our next layer.

Pre-cooked carrots, potatoes and eggs are also chopped into small pieces and gently lay them layers on the salad. We cover all the ingredients with mayonnaise and sprinkle it with grated cheese and egg. You can also decorate the dish with a twig of green. Delicious salad "Miller" is ready! "Melnik" (salad) - recipe with chicken and pickled mushrooms

We offer to your court one more option of making a hearty and beautiful dish. If you decide to indulge your household members and guests with such a salad, then you need to pre-stock the following ingredients: chicken fillet - one kilogram, three medium-sized pickles, five medium-sized potatoes, eight chicken eggs, 200 grams of hard cheese, four carrots, a glass of pickled Mushrooms (the best for this dish fungus), two onions, mayonnaise and salt to taste.



Cooking process

Boil the chicken fillet, carrots, potatoes and eggs, cool them. Marinated mushrooms finely chopped. Onions are also finely chopped. You can pour it for a few minutes with boiling water to get rid of the bitter aftertaste. Cooked potatoes and carrots are cleaned. Potatoes cut into small squares, and carrots rubbed on a grater. The fillet is also chopped into small pieces. Cheese grate, and pickled cucumbers finely chopped.

In the salad dish, first lay out pickled mushrooms, and on top - finely chopped onions. The next layer will consist of grated cheese with mayonnaise. Then lay out the meat, salted cucumbers, eggs, everything is greased with mayonnaise. The next layers will consist of carrots, potatoes and again mayonnaise. On top lay the remains of cheese and grated egg on a small grater. To decorate the dish you can use feathers of green onions, a sprig of dill or parsley.
