The easiest way is to use a piece of steep salted dough. From it it is necessary to form the right form directly on the table. The process begins with the fact that pieces of paper are pasted onto the form without using glue, but only soaked in water. This is done so that you can then easily remove the mask from the mold. All subsequent layers are already pasted with glue or glue. It is necessary to paste so many layers so that the thickness of the product is 4-5 mm. The last layer must be made of white paper, since the top layer will be painted. The only exceptions are masks, which later need to be completely painted black or brown.

After this, the mask must be allowed to dry thoroughly. After drying, the mask is gently removed from the mold, the sharp razor cuts openings for the eyes, nose and mouth, make slots for the strings at the level of the temples. Now it remains only to paint the mask, if desired - to cover it with varnish, insert the holes in the holes and - to put on with the fancy dress. And now - kribla, crab, boom - a fairy tale itself came to visit us !!!
