How to issue a certificate of non-conviction

When it is necessary to draw up documents and carry out a number of other legal manipulations, it is important to submit a timely package of documents, which are provided by the order. Some of them are quite problematic, as they have to wait a long time for their manufacture, or they pay a high price for issuance. In addition, a number of certificates have their validity period, and if you do not invest in this period, you will have to start collecting everything again.

Where can I get a certificate of non-conviction?

One of a number of demanded documents can be a certificate of non-conviction - this is a document issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It testifies to the absence / presence of a previous conviction of a citizen in Ukraine. To get it, you need to contact the Office of Information Technologies of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The certificate must be addressed personally or sent to a trustee, in which case it must have your written consent-instruction, certified by a notary. The certificate is issued regardless of the place of residence of the person who requests it. Thus, if you do not have the time or opportunity to issue a certificate yourself, you can apply to a law firm, issue a power of attorney to its representative, and he will take care of all the processes, you only need to come and collect the finished document.

If you do not need a certificate of non-conviction, it will take about two weeks to produce it. Urgent help is made within 1-2 days, but for efficiency, accordingly, you need to pay extra. The certificate issued for action in the territory of Ukraine is valid for 30 days, and for filing abroad - 90 days.

Nuances in the design of the certificate

The certificate must indicate the reason for issuing: "The reference is given for ...". If a certificate is needed for action in the territory of Ukraine, it is issued without special protection, and for sending it abroad, special forms are needed.

Certificates of non-conviction, on which there is a hologram, are obligatory for:

- submission of documents to the social security authorities;

- submission of documents to banking institutions;

- employment for work in your country;

- visa registration;

- official employment abroad;

- provision in foreign institutions.

List of documents to be submitted for issuing a certificate of non-conviction:

- Passport data (photocopy or other document, which indicates the basic data about the recipient: full name, date of birth, place of birth, place of residence);

- an application on behalf of the recipient or an order certified by a notary;

- receipts for payment of information services and a form for reference.
