To the question: "How to turn the text in" Word "2007?" - An inexperienced user will respond that there is no such function in the program. But it is not so. You can turn the text around, but it's not done in a completely standard way. Yes! A special tool for this is not invented, but there are other ways that can easily change the direction of writing the text.

Turn the text in "Word 2007"

In total in the article there will be presented three ways, suggesting how to turn the text in "Word 2007". They differ greatly from each other, accordingly, each user can choose for himself the most convenient. Therefore, we recommend that you finish reading the article to the end, in order to determine for yourself what method to use.

Looking ahead, I want to say that two methods involve the use of special tools such as a table and a text box, and the third, on the contrary, is the simplest option.

Method 1: Using the table

How do I flip the text in Word 2007 using a table? First you need to go to the "Insert" tab. In it, on the toolbar, find the "Table" button. It is in the "Tables" tool group. When you click on it, the menu opens, in which you want to create a table 1 to 1. To do this, click on the first cell.

As a result, one cell will appear on the sheet, with which we will work. In the empty space, you need to put your text. You can print it yourself or paste it from the clipboard, after copying it there.

Now you can flip the text. To do this, right-click on the cell (RMB) and select "Text Direction" from the menu.

A window appears in which you want to define the orientation (from top to bottom or from bottom to top). After that, click "OK." As you can see, the text in the cell has become vertical, but often because of its size it looks unpresentable. Therefore, you need to change the size itself. To do this, move the cursor to one of the faces of the table and, holding the left mouse button (LMB), stretch it.

To complete the operation, you need to get rid of boundaries. To do this, click on the PCM on the cell and in the menu - the button "Borders". Select No border.

After that, all lines will become invisible. This was the first way how to flip the text in "Word 2007", but not the last one. We proceed to the next.

Method 2: Using the text box

The text in the "Word" can be turned over using the text field. In general, the process is practically no different from the previous one, but there are several nuances, which we will discuss in more detail below.

Just like last time, you first need to open the "Text Box" tool. To do this, on the "Insert" tab, click on the button of the same name. By the way, it is in the tool group "Text". In the menu that appears, select one of the templates. It is recommended to use the very first one, since it does not have any pre-formatting.

After clicking on the template, a text field will appear on the sheet, in which the text will be placed. It must be replaced with yours, so safely remove and insert your own.

After this, you can proceed with the direction change. Click the "Text Direction" button on the toolbar and select the orientation from the menu. By the way, the text can be rotated and at an arbitrary angle. To do this, it is required to clamp the LMC on the circular arrow indicator that is above the text field, and rotate it with the mouse.

As in the previous method, the size of the text box may not fit the length of the written text, so you need to stretch it. This is done in exactly the same way: squeeze the LMC on one of the borders, stretch the edges of the field.

To remove borders, you need to click the "Outline shape" button in the "Format" tab and then "No outline".

Method 3: text in a column

Now let's look at the last way, how to turn the text in Word. This time no tools will be used. After each letter written, you need to make a paragraph, and in places where there should be a space, - two paragraphs. That's all the wisdom.
