How should labor protection be organized in the school?

Labor protection in the school, as well as any other institutions, must be organized without fail. First of all, the responsibility for this is the administration. In addition, a specially trained employee, a labor safety engineer, is working in this direction. It provides for the creation of security commissions and their management in several blocks.

First, it is necessary to develop local acts. This includes orders, regulations on which labor protection in the school is regulated, instructions on this topic for almost all employees.

Further, it is necessary to conduct training, including initial and subsequent briefings, passing examinations on this topic and issuing certain certificates. Responsible for how labor protection is carried out in the school, certifies jobs, provides fire and electrical safety, safe working conditions and conducts injury prevention.

For an engineer (specialist) in this area to involve as many people here as possible and thereby not only to facilitate his task, but also to improve the efficiency of his activities, in addition, it is necessary to develop and approve documents that would comply with state regulations. Their activities are regulated by legal and legislative acts of the subject of the Russian Federation, a collective agreement, local acts of the educational institution. Members of the commission undergo periodic training at specialized courses on a specific topic.

Any safety instruction in the school must comply with the recommendations for the preparation of this documentation. They are developed for each member of the team, from laboratory technicians to teachers and administrators, and correspond to the specifics of the position held. Employees get acquainted with this document against the signature.

The members of the commission, under whose control labor protection is located, have the right to receive information from the director on what work is being done to improve the conditions of workplaces, the harmfulness of production, and the funding allocated for these purposes. In addition, they can participate in the coordination of issues and the development of regulations that fall within their competence. For violations of rules, regulations and instructions for which labor protection is carried out, it is possible to bring an employee to disciplinary liability. This question is taken out at the general meeting or discussed personally with the head.

In addition, for active participation in activities and measures aimed at improving safe and healthy working conditions, incentive measures can be developed and agreed with the administration.

Thus, the work, the task of which is the protection of labor in the school, should be conducted, first of all, with preventive purposes. This will help to avoid injuries in the workplace and reduce the number of occupational diseases associated with harmful working conditions. If necessary, employees are provided with professional footwear, clothing, and protective equipment (especially for laboratory technicians in chemistry offices, technical servants, etc.). At the same time, sanitary and hygienic norms and working conditions must be observed.
