How many ticks live and where exactly do they live?

People are mostly frightened by forest ticks, which are often carriers of dangerous diseases (dust and scabies) and from which health problems also arise. Being on vacation in the forest or in the park in the spring-summer period, many risk to bring on themselves or the clothes of an undesirable "passenger". On animals, mites attack even more often. Especially this applies to dogs and livestock, which is grazing in the summer. In connection with the damage to the health of humans and animals of these insects, many are interested in how many ticks live in nature and how much they can be on the body.

Encephalitis

The main danger for humans is arachnids, which carry this deadly disease. Encephalitic mites of children are frightened from a school bench, and not in vain. These small insects live in forests and parks, hiding in the grass and under the leaves, and in the spring, when it gets warm enough, they begin to hunt animals and people, trying to get drunk after the hungry winter. Encephalitis is called a European mite living near human habitation and capable of infecting this deadly disease. Because encephalitis is an infection that mainly affects the central nervous system, it often dies from it or remains disabled. It is for this reason that, with insects carrying it, humanity struggles in all possible ways. Regardless of how many ticks live, they represent a particular danger in the spring and early autumn, during the summer, these insects basically do not hunt.

Other diseases

In addition to encephalitis, a European tick can infect a person with Lyme disease, borreliosis or hemorrhagic fever. In this regard, not knowing how much the house mites live at, some people, after returning from a hike or a walk, for a long time examine themselves and children for its presence, for fear of infection. In fact, in order not to become infected with any infection, it is necessary to take preventive measures, namely: to use suitable, closed clothing, not to visit the park area with young children. After a hike in the forest or park, it's best to examine each other, and immediately wash your clothes or carefully shake them out. Regardless of how many days a tick lives, if it was not found on the first day after a hike into the forest, either on the body or on clothes, then there is no danger. Those who are constantly in the habitat of insects in a dangerous period, it is recommended to vaccinate.

Scabies

Another kind of arachnids, capable of harming human health - are itch mites. Certainly, it is not as dangerous as encephalitis, but it is still not pleasant from its appearance on the skin. These are smaller insects (their size is a fraction of a millimeter), parasitizing the skin and causing itching in animals or humans. Eating the grain layer of the epidermis, insects cause discomfort. At the outward appearance, infection with scabies at times does not appear, in connection with which the disease can occur almost asymptomatically, but not how much. Mites live only a few days, but the female is so prolific that literally within a week the entire skin can be affected. Fortunately, getting rid of such "passengers" on the body is quite simple, the main thing is to get help in a timely manner.

Allergy

One of the most common allergens is dust. But actually it is not she that irritates the mucosa, but the products of the life-activity of the mites in her that live literally everywhere: on the floor, in underwear, in books, in soft toys, etc. Even in clean beds they can not be counted! Ticks live in both pillows and mattresses, causing a runny nose, coughing and other consequences. And it is possible to fight these parasites only by correctly selecting a vacuum cleaner and constantly cleaning in the room.
