How and when ozocerite is used at home

Ozokerite is a natural substance with a waxlike consistency. It is an oil product, whose deposits are located in the Carpathians, in Canada and on the islands of Britain.

Currently, treatment with ozocerite is widespread. This mineral raw material has found its application in heat therapy. Mountain wax, as it is also called, is an excellent material for this technique. Ozokerite is plastic, which allows it to be given the necessary shape, and keeps the heat in the heated state perfectly.

Therapy with the use of mountain wax is used for articular pathologies (arthritis, arthrosis and osteochondrosis), and also in the period after surgery to accelerate the recovery of the body.

How to apply ozocerite?

Ozokerite at home can be used quite successfully. The implementation of this procedure does not require the availability of special equipment, and its methodology is quite simple. For home heat treatment, you need two pots. One of them should be smaller, and the other should be bigger. Take ozocerite. It can be purchased in the pharmacy chain or in the online store. Pieces of mountain wax are placed in a smaller saucepan. They should be melt in a water bath. To do this, a large saucepan is filled to the middle with water and a small container with ozocerite is placed in it. The resulting structure is put on fire. Healing oil must be melted completely. In order to not get into it water, a small saucepan should be covered with a lid.

Liquid ozocerite at home is poured into a shallow container (tray or baking sheet), the bottom of which is pre-covered with medical oilcloth or some material withstanding a high temperature. The melted mountain wax reminds on its consistence a thick kissel and is distributed evenly.

Finally, the therapeutic product is ready in fifteen to twenty minutes. To check this fact, you need a stick or toothpick. The resulting layer is pierced in several places. In the case when no liquid appears from the inner layer, prepared ozocerite at home is ready for use for heat therapy.

The layer of mountain wax is superimposed on a sore spot, knotted along the contour of the body and covered with a cloak of dense tissue. The procedure lasts thirty-thirty-five minutes. This method helps heat penetrate deep layers of tissue. This ensures a permanent and strong effect. Ozokerite, the use of which at home should be preliminarily agreed with the attending physician, can be used by courses. For example, from ten to twelve to twenty-twenty-five sessions.

After the procedure in which ozocerite was used at home was completely performed, the therapeutic product rolled into a ball. It can be stored in a container until the next time.

When is the procedure recommended?

Ozokerite is applied at home to children and adults. For babies up to a year, this procedure is prescribed for spastic contractures of muscle tissue. The curative product is used for thermal relaxation.

Children older than one year ozokerite is recommended for coughing, biliary dyskinesia, bladder pathologies, as well as for the treatment of sprains and bruises.
