Georgio Veynaldum: career, achievements

Giorgino Veynaldum is a football player of Suriname origin who defends the colors of the Netherlands team. He is a graduate of the academy of football club "Feyenoord". He has the status of one of the youngest players who managed to make his debut in adult football.

The future footballer was born in the Dutch city of Rotterdam on November 11, 1990. From an early age, Georgio Veynaldum was interested in acrobatics and gymnastics. The boy did not pay attention to football, unlike his comrades. However, at the age of 7, he accidentally happened to be seen at the Sparta club, where his nephew invited him. According to the results of the selection, Georgio Veynaldum was enrolled in the academy of the team.

Young talent quickly turned into one of the leaders of the youth structure of "Sparta". Gradually the more eminent clubs of the country began to show genuine interest to him. At first, the young football player refused to part with his favorite band. However, the management of the club "Feyenoord" still persuaded the talented midfielder to think about the transition. In the new team midfielder was at the age of 14 years.

The player took only 2 years to get into the main part of the "Feyenoord". In April 2007, he made his debut for the main team. Thus, Giorgino Veynaldum became the youngest football player in the history of the club, which ever went on the field in the Dutch championship. During five seasons, the midfielder played 134 duels, in which he scored 25 goals scored in all tournaments.

Transfer to "PSV"

In 2011, Giorgino Veynaldum received an offer for signing a contract from another leader of the Dutch championship - the PSV Eindhoven club. Here the midfielder moved for an amount of 5 million euros. The young football player almost immediately made his debut in the first team.

In the 2013/2014 season, Georginho Veynaldum acquired the status of team leader. The player was awarded the title of team captain. However, during the year the midfielder was constantly harassed by the recurrence of an old back injury. Therefore, during the season he managed to participate in only 11 bouts. The following year Veynaldum reached the peak of the form and helped the club to win the championship title.

Performances for Newcastle

At the beginning of the 2015/2016 season, Georgio Veynaldum, whose photo is presented in this article, moved to the English championship, signing an agreement with the club Newcastle United. The amount prescribed in the contract was a record 27 million pounds.

The debut ball for the new club Giorgino was noted in the game against Southampton, which took place on August 9, 2015 in the national championship of the country. In October, the midfielder completed the first poker in a sports career, scoring 4 goals in a duel against the Norwich City club.

In total during the first season in "Newcastle" the player took part in 38 games, 11 times signing at the gate of opponents. However, such a high performance, as for the midfielder, did not allow the club to keep a residence permit in the top division. After the forced departure of the team in the Championship, Weinaldum had to think about finding other options for continuing his career.

Going to Liverpool

In the summer off-season of 2016 in the English press, reports of a possible transfer of Veynaldum to Liverpool began to appear more and more often.
